  1. Huh, that could be one explanation. Obviously my gf and I play on the same region server, but it didn't occur to me to ask the others. Haven't tried to get into another fractals group since, but meta squads later in the day worked fine for me.
  2. My gf and I were in one instance of Lion's Arch wanting to do T1 fractals, so we listed our party on LFG. 3 others joined, but none of us could join together. When one person was in the fractals of the mists, several others trying to enter got a supposed "network error" (yeah... it's all 5 of our networks, lol). We all tried logging out, switching characters, exiting the game, but it was still the same. Their dots appeared faded as though they were not on the same instance as my gf and I, but when right clicking on their icon, there was absolutely no "Join in Lion's Arch" option available. The other 3 tried the same and were unable to come to ours. My girlfriend and I could get into the mists, but the other 3 got the ""network"" error message, and it was the exact same reversed. I even tried turning our party into a squad to see if that would work, and it did not. This is a massive issue as it prevents so many types of gameplay. We need parties for fractals and dungeons, we need squads to change our instance to a populated one when doing meta events. I would attach two screenshots of the chaos ensuring, but this format does not allow me to attach image files, and when I tried uploading an image with a link to attach this way, your text box just turned red with absolutely no explanation of why it wasn't accepted. Seems this in-game bug isn't the only thing that needs to be fixed.
  3. (Also Mac OS X 10.14.6) I've been experiencing the same issues since 17 December as well – at first it would crash with no warning at random times, giving me the 'serious error' message. I've been in contact with support since the day after, and it's only gotten worse since. I've tried everything they suggested, rather oddly unrelated to the actual problem, which is the Wintersday download. Even deleted all GW2 files and app and reinstalled – now it crashes immediately upon opening, whether that's during the Divinity's Reach loading page or after approximately 3 seconds in Amnoon. The core reason for this crash is pretty obvious, considering I've never had anything like this before Wintersday, and the crashes started right after. It's pretty unhelpful to have the support team respond around once per day with the most basic things that have already been checked and double checked. The game is 100% unplayable now, and all I want at this point is an estimate on when there will be a fix available...
