  1. As the title states, back in the days gw2 had more appealing visual efects, at that time. Now with the new expansion out it feels like every aspect of visuals its just either cheap and unispired, or recicled (obsidian armor or visual efects for some weapons of elite specialisation - riffle that shoots arrows :)), chunky pistol on ele).

    Even in term of character customisation, there were no new faces or hairstyles!? not to say that the whole character creation needs a revamp, some looks pixelated and old textured. For a game that doesn t have any vertical progresion, and it has so many armor apearances, races and such, it feels weird that when we get an expansion, not even the weapon effects deliver, thinking that they announce that verry early before releasing the expansion.

  2. As the title says, I don t see how they will "balance" this class without nerfing it to the ground or making it insanely over powered. Maybe it is time for A net to look into the core of this class and fix it by demolishing it to the ground and remake it :), I know that I might get alot of hate from you players for this topic, but i simply don t see a future for elementalist, all the potential that could be there for elementalist feel scattered to all over the place, hiding behind huge tradeofs(signets, traits, conjure weapons). Even today I do not understand the meaning of conjure weapons, it is a design tedious to use, but maybe thats personal preference. What do you think ele should look if we would get a big rework? (I saw warrior getting some big reworks, maybe it is hope for us eles too^^)

  3. scenario 1: I wish axe main hand with 900 range and mainly focused on ice skills or water tornados like sunqua peak something like that, high hopium for it

    scenario 2: is where the copium it has no limit. I actually wish every class to be able to wear any weapon ;3 that would be cool, not 100 elite specs, just all weapons.

  4. Maybe it is just me but the weapon it simply does not fit with the class, it looks bulky, sidewalking, animations are kind of bad. I personally would have been more happy with an axe or a pistol, but yea A net decided to give us hammer :). (keeps reminding me of miley cyrus wreking ball song lol)

    But hey we can always prey to get a ranged weapon :))

  5. Is it just me or with every patchnote changes that we get I get the feeling that elementalist was simply not built verry well since the verry begining, and it is just crumbling apart. I played elementalist/mage in different mmos, but I find it here in gw2 verry hard to attach to it. I mostly tried tempest with all the weapons that I can posibly equip, and all the traits that are there, but to every each one of them I felt like I was giving up in the same time skills from other weapons that were performing really well, same goes with utilities, to provide a bit of support you actually trade a big chunk of your dps, or traits. 

    I feel like the game should simply give players more liberty into choosing, like why water has to be more of a healing trait, or earth for defense, why can t we have the option to have amazing skills like water tornados similar to sunqua peak, or ice skills, earthy nature like skills. 

    After some time of playing even this idea of equiping a weapon and all of your skills change it doesn t seem so cool anymore. Why? Because a net simply does not let you and you need to play in a certain way in order to perform well and be able to join partyes. 

    Maybe it is just me being on a higher dosage of copium than usual, but hey with all those mmos out there on display with plenty of options to choose, I am feeling a bit down about my "home game" simply because it does not offer that at all. 

    If you feel the same, or not :)) leave your opinion downbelow, maybe A net can do something about it, atleast give us a ranged next specialisation or some better balance atleast, cheers!

Hello there, I started playing guild wars 2 aproximately 3 years ago, I don't consider myself an elite or having alot of experience in multiple game modes but I want to share my experience and thoughts on improving the way that the legendaryes are crafted. My first legendary was Frostfang, I gathered every material myself but I can't imagine actually really creating it without the help of external resources of information like gw2wiki page and videos on youtube from content creators (thank you so much guys!). In my opinion, with the future of steam release, it would be great if actually all those information would be displayed inside the game (I myself did not know wikipage existed in my first 6 months of playing). Like for example if there would be like a "recipe" or an achivement list of materials, wich are specifying that, for ex.: for gift of magic you need to combine x list of materials at the mystic forge, and showing were the mystic forge location is (another part of the game that I did not know existed, I discovered it in the same way, from a youtube video, the guy was calling it mystic toilet lol). I feel like the game should present legendary items to players in a better way, to let them know they exist, what benefits they have, since gw2 do not have a vertical gear progresion system like other games, maybe it would be a good idea to actually show players: this is a legendary item, you can equip it on multiple characters simultaneously, you can change its stats just by selecting them from the list, it has cool efects and footsteps, and by presenting all this from the game it does not "disconnect" the player, no need anymore to go on youtube, or wiki page and keep them open all the time and swich tabs all the time to check wich materials you have to combine, wich you can sell and wich not. Maybe to older players my idea doesn t seem something that should be taken in consideration, but I think for new playes and for future of gw2, this is a good improvement.

  7. When i read repplyes like : "I would prefer anet would use their time and resources on something else.." I just tch like, why can't people just admit that some things in the game really needs polishing, I am not saying that gw2 it's a bad game, just that some things need a lookout, like skills cringe animations, character creation system, game graphics texture wich is starting to show it's age, because other games are out there and they see what other games are lacking, and they will take notes, would be nice if Anet takes notes too. I dare you to say that response again when games like Ashes of Creation will release, 🙂

  8. I personally wish we would have the choice of getting legendary armor from open world and achivements. The most fun time I had in gw2 was unlocking all my mounts and doing all returning achivements for the amulet/precursor weap for gen 3. I wish we had something similar with leg armor too. In my opinion makes the enviroment more alive.

    -to be able to change to any color not just some that are there put by them

    -new details on faces like to change the shape of: eyes , brow, lips, bone structures

    New hairstyles with better textures: 

    -able to change to any color, better to put a rainbow pallete like other games have

    -able to change the light reflected and intensity

    -able to have more colors that differ: on roots, midhairlenght, and at the ends

    New body options:

    -able to change the size and shape  for: neck, arms, hands, torso, chest, bootom, legs, foot, head

    You must be joking. ANet skyscale mount achivement it is perfect as it is. Yes it takes time to aquire, but if you are all in a hurry and you want to have something as u clap your hands, then you hve a problem with simply enjoying the game and it s jurney. They already made it eassyer to achive by releasing bjora marches where with ice shards you can buy any currency and they lowerd the time of skyscale feeding. 

    Conclusion: "Enjoy while it lasts dear" ^^

I myself think that this game has plenty of content and more "goods" than other games have, and it is true that this year lots of new mmos are released so naturally people would try atleast one of them (I did elyon) but I think people who played and enjoyedgw2 and spend alot of time in it i think they would still play and buy the new expansion, and I have faith that Anet will bring good things to us, despide the release of icebrood saga, but i would not jump to judge this toppic either because it was during that they realised we should make somethin bigger from this, a new expansion, so mby that is why the content of it seems low comparing to other lws. 

    Anyway i deviated from the toppic, so like i said, let s just be patient even though we do not have much info, let them do their job and take as much time as needed to release somethin good.

    The first tier has 4 weeks which matches the LS2 releases we've had.

     

    Tier 2 has 6 weeks for LS3. The reward for completing tier 2 is the precursor token they told us we'd get for LS2 and LS3.

     

    Tier 3 also has 6 weeks for LS4.

     

    Tier 4 has 8 weeks for Icebrood Saga (somehow). The reward for tier 4 is the legendary amulet.

     

    Without Intermissions that means a minimum of 20 more weeks before this LS recap event is complete. No way of knowing how long it will take with Intermissions.

    Oh lord, and I thought that it was just about ls2 and 3, it s actually ls4 and the icebrood saga. But I just finished like the whole story for lws4 and icebrood saga when they will be in spotlight I will have to replay them? oh my😵

    No one really knows what is to happen, or when any releases might be forthcoming. 

     

    And, the Devs don't take off for Thanksgiving, other than the Friday after.

    The Christmas holiday starts right before Christmas and ends right after New Year's Day. 

    Wait I thought LWS3 will be released with 2 ep per week just like lws2 or it's gonna be just one/week?

  14. My deepest desires regarding GW2 are: 😂

    1. DX12 directly implemented into the game or change the engine. It lags alot when other players are around, and I always need to set options for seeing less players. Would be better if actually the game would minimise players by itself or anything else that could fix that lag.

    2. Better skill animation. Pleaaaasee! I mean come on Jormag and primordus have such beautiful skill effects and their champions too, and what do I have? a circle that I put on the ground, like really? For ex elementalist have such chunky animations imao especially the scepter, the autoattack is ew, and not only this class others too. I feel like we should get better animation for all classes skills.

    3. Better character creation/customization. Would be amazing if we could actually modify the whole body parts and face parts. (lip, colour, eyebrows, a whole rainbow scale to choose not only default colours)

    Overall I have a verry good impression about the game, it is to apreciate how the dev's take care of the game and listen to players opinions, so here s my thoughts about a few aspects of the game:

    1. GAME GRAPHICS: GW2 it is a verry good looking game but I see some differences from starting areas like Quinsdale even HoT maps and PoF maps wich looks so muuch moore beautiful than other, the texture, the lightning it is just better in PoF maps; also I believe Directx 12 should be implemented directly on game( for me textures on some objects with shades keeep refreshing from time to time while I move my camera)

    2. CHARACTER CREATION: I believe GW2 should have a whole revamp of character creation, I mean come on A-net you put so much effort into all other aspects of the game and miss this, most players really pay attention to character creation.

    3. PvP: I am not a players who pvp s everyday when I log in but once in a while I like to go and do a few matches, then I take a break again because if I overdo one thing I get bored fast, but I hear alot of people complaining about this area of game, saying that there are alot of hackers, so I believe it should be payed more attention into that matter.

    4. OPEN WORLD: I play this content the most, and I enjoy the most but sometimes it feels unrewardy, like for example metaevents, after I finish them I get plenty of shiny chests of different kind and all I get are materials. I'd love to see more achivements like the skyscale one, It was my favourite time that I played the game, the whole thing from the verry begining, since I needed to unlock all those mounts in order to get it, and in the same time discovering new gorgeous places and doing events there, and then the jurney of skyscale; the satisfaction after I unlocked it was like nothing else that I worked for in the game, of course and the fact that I wanted it verry, verry much, actually skyscales were the thing that made my mind to buy the game and play it.

    5. LEGENDARY EQUIPMENT: My first legendary: Frostfang, and probably my last. The jurney was not a long time of gameplay, but it was extremly demanding of grind, except world completion, but the mystic clover part and other materials and the precursor were verry costy( I know I can craft it but in some chases it is cheapper just to buy it). My point is I think people would enjoy other ways to get legendaryes not only by grinding; I am happy to see thise new achivements that you have to play the living world storyes in order to complete or gathering or do a bunch of events, and then latter you will get a precursor or a legendary amulet, I can not remember precisely, but what I want to point out is that this kind of achivements are fun to do.

     

  16. I wish i could see some more customisation options, hair, faces, more colors.

    I wish to be able to swap footsteps from legendary weapons, maybe makin them a whole other section like a wardrobe to unlock.

    New legendaryes.

    Otion to do dungeons solo.

    And yes New races like some frostelfes or dwarfs i think they would fit in.

    New class or New specialisations

    Some bittersweet epic ending story like why "The commander" fight and struggle but in The end we always win xD.

    New skyscale/mount engaging skill that doesn t dismount you.

    Affrodable infusions that are not so shiny and glittery.
