So my game worked fine when I stopped playing approximately 12 hours ago, but now, every time I attempt to play I receive an error. I can log in without issue. I get the character screen and the game starts to load into Crystal Oasis and then I just get a Gw2-64.exe error. The 2 things I've tried so far are: I first tried the changing the shortcut to do a '-repair' and then I deleted the cache folder that can be found in the %temp% folder. My system is running Windows 10 x64, 32GB RAM, EVGA 2080 Super, Ryzen 7 2700X. I copied the 'Show details' section, but I'm not sure if I should just post it in the body of this or if there is a preferred method to use. I've also included the image link for the error that I'm receiving: https://ibb.co/yqxCGhg My next idea is to uninstall the game and re-install and download it from scratch if I can't figure out a better solution. Before I go that route, I thought someone else might have a solution that would possibly work. Thanks to anyone able to help out.
After reseating the graphics card (no idea why it said out of memory), and obviously a hard shut down and restart (twice), it now works. fingers crossed that it keeps working :) thanks for the advice help. Oh, and I checked, and thankfully, that April update is not on my system. Thanks for the heads up regarding it though.
