  1. In my experience, it's working correctly these days for gemstore skins, but still bugged on default skins. It's more pronounced the longer your load times are (due to slow hard drive, full memory, whatever). When the mount skin is still loading, the camera is stuck in one spot, though the invisible mount is free to move around. Once the skin loads, the camera snaps to the mount's location. If the player dismounts before the skin loads, they find themselves at the stuck camera location instead of the mount location (that is, they are teleported). Only happens for me with default skins, so I mostly notice it on my key farm characters or skyscale.
  2. Mounts and ranger pets have had a bugged interaction since the introduction of mounts to the game. (1) Mount engage skills frequently leave the pet in a stowed state, rather than returning them to their previous state.(1b) Even a merged soulbeast will often become unmerged (with pet stuck stowed) after a dismount.(2) Stowed pets normally activate as soon as combat starts, but pets in this bugged stowed state often remain stowed in combat and can only be used by manually clicking the tiny activate button on the UI (with no keybind option), which can be dangerous in the heat of combat.(2b) For soulbeasts, the bug may require re-merging with their pet.(3) In addition to being awkward to execute, these fixes place pet swap on cooldown, preventing the ranger from swapping when they would normally be able to. Because of ranger character lower base stats, they rely on their pets to stand on par with other classes in the game. With pet access so frequently hindered by this bug, this is a significant annoyance and nerf for rangers who use mount engages often. This bug has been plaguing open world rangers for almost two years now. An official response would be appreciated. (This bug occurs on both primary and secondary pets. I've been unable to identify any factors that increase or decrease likelihood of it happening, but I do wonder if it could be related to network latency.)
  3. Still not working for me. (And it was working a few days ago.)
  4. I think druid's damage was already low compared to other classes, and they had the tradeoff of dedicating a trait line to mostly healing instead of damage. Solo druid play and most open world PVE doesn't even get much of a benefit from celestial avatar since it recharges so very slowly. The druid changes might be good for balance in group situations in which the druid is filling a dedicated healing role, but in all other situations it feels like a nerf to an already weak specialization. If astral force was adjusted to generate better in solo play, I think the trade-off would be more balanced.
