  1. Unable to complete the operation (permission denied). (Code=49:58:0:0:101) => getting this on every load screen!

also reported players getting booted out of INSTANCED COMBAT (like htcm, dhuum cm, strikes...).

what is worse is the party/squad ui shows nothing sometimes when booted from instances; and cannot leave/join group nor able to rejoin instance until get booted by commander. some folks are saying a retart of the game fixes it; others not.

but yeah, i like the 1990's popup windows of error messages. it really reminds me of the days-of-old

  2. There seems to be a lot of dark patterns as of recently: trying to login to the gw2 support page and having to verify via cloudflare that I am a human and not a bot (yeah thanks anet; we buy the game, then you have us run a captcha on login to the website, great) - then not responding to tickets and letting them auto-close - among other things; the beatings will continue until morale improves : )

  3. I think by now it maybe easier to remove the policy and allow "bots" aka scripts to automate farming and multi-key presses. They are everywhere, it is pretty sad when you can get them killed and they lay there dead for an hour until booted to the character select, then they login again, and back to necro greatsword auto-cast'ing 4. Some of them auto-cast 1 for hours and hours and hours - and not just necros. Frankly the last time anet ran detection against cheaters the community screamed at them for 'scanning files'. It's a double-standard where nobody really wins. I'd love to talk to an anet PM or developer in private to give them ideas on combating this, if they still want to combat it; but its a cat and mouse game and people will always find the bare-minimum to qualify a "not afk" and such. I'd love the support team to have more exciting things to work on like new content/features/bugfixes than to have them chase down these obvious farmers. Plus, the more farmers, the more paid accounts for anet. Soon the farmers will have enough gold on their main account they can stream and then give legendaries away to random folks on their streams. It's not real-money trading when it's a raffle to a stream right (lets ignore the patreon of those too).

  4. The in-game mail system is auto-filling the "To" field for people both in my blocked-list and those in my followed-list.Even if I block a user, the in-game mail system defaults to their account/names and it actually allows me to mail them (again even if they're blocked!)

Can this be adjusted - or user-options available to how the to-system auto-fill selection gets filled?I would think friends/party/sub-group/guild would have priority over people in my blocked list (and follower list for that matter).

This is terribly exploitable - I am tired of accidentally mail'ing people that have similar account/toon names as friends and family.

Please fix, or disable the auto-fill if 0 time is going to be allocated to it.

  5. @"Zaxares.5419" said:In addition to all of the feedback already provided, can I also request that additional options for commendations be added? I'd like to have a "Split my commendations between the Dominion and Corrupted" and a "Split my commendations six ways between all the factions" as well.

Agreed! If a fractal/raid npc can go through a loop of which golems to apply, ect - then we can have which commendation to split between. and a single "reset" (or equally distribute) button.

  6. @Fire Attunement.9835 Thanks for this update!

Has limited placing player items been considered in this re-work? I think we've all seen our fair share of player-placeable merchants on loot boxes in this and other maps over the years. Ironically when I try to place a legitimate waystation while invading, I get the error message that too many are placed nearby - when I literally see none.

Ideally limiting the troll-ability of player-placeable items on/near intractable items (like chests or NPC vendors) would be incredibly powerful. This really would not solve the mesmer portals, but maybe having a scroll-able list of items to Interact with would (once a player is in range of N items)?

    Thanks again!
