The chatter is there, you just don't hear it when it comes through the central channel. Same happens with NPC chatter when your camera is pointed directly at them. The problem is on the side of Logitech and their terrible support for these speakers. While the speakers are 2.1, windows sees them as 7.1 and there is no simple way to force them to play stereo. The only workaround i found was downgrading the drivers to generic 2.1 speakers (which of course means you lose all control over the RGB lighting), but as of today that seems to have stopped working as well...
