I also suddenly started getting Error 42 messages in-game. Came back to the game about a month ago and was on my merry way until today. Nothing was changed in my network either. I can play other games just fine. I followed the steps provided in support, all ports forwarded, firewall rule, restarted modem, etc. but sadly no luck. I can still stay connected and do things though? Its very strange.
