From Ashes They Emerge (FATE) is a semi-casual and social guild looking to increase our ranks with active, social, and drama-free players of all experience levels and backgrounds! We prioritize doing things together as a guild first, with a focus on endgame PvE content, but also regularly play many other aspects of the game (e.g. AP hunting, story, and open world metas to name a few.) We intentionally keep our membership small, filled with people who regularly play and socialize with each other. We are recruiting players who not only seek these ideals in a guild but also add to it. In addition to the social aspect, to ensure FATE could be a great fit for you, we're looking for folks who: Would like to lead/play/learn raids, strikes, and fractals with fellow guildmates in a low stress and fun environment. If you're simply looking for "LFG but more convenient" then this is not the place for you. Play on NA/US region, and available to play around reset - we're almost entirely EST/CST. Will maintain a supportive and respectful atmosphere both in game and in Discord. Are 21+ years old. Most of our members are in their 30s and 40s working full time and with kids (having kids isn't a requirement ;-D ) Use Discord and willing to join voice chat as needed. Speaking is not required but we do ask you to hop in when doing certain content (e.g. raids, fractals, strikes, etc.) so that we can be a bit more coordinated. Will be active within the guild, both in-game and/or in Discord. We define 'active' as regularly socializing in discord/in-game chat OR playing with guildies. What FATE Has to Offer Recurring scheduled endgame (training/prog/chill) content, AP hunting, open world events, etc. Friendly and social nerds (and sometimes their "better half") who love the game and are also respectful of your time and space. While we'd love to see you repping FATE around Tyria, we don't have a rep requirement except when doing guild missions. Be aware that in-game chat can get lively when many of us are online. Opportunities to 'rank up' and organize/lead group events on a regular basis. Trial and Engagement Requirements As a new recruit, we encourage you to actively engage (via discord and/or in-game) with the guild during your 1st month with us. Chat with us. Tell us about that new puppy you brought home. Play with us in game. Help a guildie randomly. Failure to do any kind of engagement in a meaningful way with the guild during your trial period may result in being removed from the guild. If, however, we note your active engagement with the guild, you'll be promoted in-game to a full member at the commencement of your trial period. We stress the active engagement part because you're not just part of a guild. You ARE the guild and everyone contributes to make it a lively and safe community. As a full member, regular engagement will still be a requirement to maintain good standing with the guild. We routinely go through the guild membership to ensure there's enough active members meaningfully engaged with the guild and will remove any inactive/unresponsive individuals to make room for more while maintaining the small size of the guild.
