Is this a BALANCE patch or a UNBALANCE patch?Why in hell you guys think that allowing Engineers and Elementalists swapping weapons 'out of combat' will BALANCE the game instead of broken even more?Both are already unbalanced on WvW thanks to Build Template, now they will be on PvP too. Nice move!

    1st: Decide what is the plan intended to all professions/elite specializations.e.g., Core Engi will be... Boon or Healing Support, Physical or Condi DPS, Survivability just a few or a lot...

    2nd: Balance the classes between them.e.g., Is the core engineer in balance with the scrapper and/or holo engineer?

    3rd: Balance the classes with the other classes.e.g., Is the power Holosmith Engi in balance with power Spellbreaker Warrior?

    and 4th: Is there balance in the game between melee weapons and ranged weapons?e.g., 'Rapid Fire' ranger skill can or can't delete all power (berserker/marauder) professions from 1500 range? Is this fair or unfair? This is balance or not?

    and by the way...PLEASE!!!!! Make the target arrow in the head of enemies BIGGER and easier to see for colorblind people like me; bigger with a white outline will work just fine.

  2. The real problem with Power or Condi Mirages are none of that, it's basically by having a OP skill inside auto-attack after a dodge. Remove that, bring something new to the Mirage, nothing OP, and then rollback all bad changes since PoF to Chrono and Core Mesmer. Done!

    And never again create a expansion with specializations so damn OP than the older one's. BUT please, create something new and fresh to the game.Bring new WvW and PvP Maps to the table, New UI skills to the game, create a better TARGET icon than this damn red arrow (I'm colorblind), Zoom In n Out to the Character Selections, make the player think in what skill they should use instead of face-rolling or spamming skills without think. Make this game great again!!!!!

  3. In my opinion this game is in some sort of self-destruction mode.

    I know, it is just my humble "one" opinion and this will not change anything for good, but... I need to say a few things with my bad english.At the moment, this game is dead; not dead of people, not a desert game, but dead of new and great ideas to transform potential into awesomeness. And this is Anet fault.Anet think to much, develop to much in the wrong directions, wasting time and money in things that will not save this great game, but only extend the issue.Some Examples? Built Templates, untimely release of the WvW mount, just and only new maps for LWS, boring and tedious achievements to get a new and ugly skin... I can continue.This is not a great way to do marketing. Anet needs to go back a few steps and rethink what made this game a well-commented and desired game for many in the past. And only then, take the correct and consistent measures to bring back that feeling. But remember ... don't listen to the streamers, maybe they don't know what's best, maybe I, who have a marketing degree, don't know either.

    Some ideas that I think is the right way to go:

    • PvE (OpenMap) doesn't have to be changed, it's ok ... not great, but it's good.

    • New Fractals and Raids should have a consistent schedule, every 3 or 4 month. not never or "when we finish it".

    • New elite specs every 2 years, it's a good amount of time to bring something new and fresh to the game. A new breed/race can also be something new and fresh. Or, instead of new elite specs, you bring to us a maritime expansion, not underwater (maybe... also underwater); an expansion with boats, ships, fishing and waters to sail. In addition to that, new elite specs don't always have to bring new weapons. You can use the same weapon with new skills assigned and new lore to that. QoL way of thinking.

    • Remember that PvE people regularly have something new to do. But people who are here for WvW and/or PvP have been bored for years by the lack of new content and forced to leave.

    The flagship of this game has always been the combat system. So why turn the professions a brainless and face-rolling class? If you want to make the game easy-friendly, don't turn every class into one-shot professions, lessen the damage of every skill in every class or increase everyone's life. Because now, almost everyone can one-shoot everyone from 1200+ range. This is ridiculous, annoying, unfun... let people have a chance to fight back a perma stealth condi thief, a OP power mirage, the new OP ridiculous necro god, the immortal warrior that turn back to u, stun and bye bye. This is not a GREAT COMBAT SYSTEM anymore, this is trash/troll/annoying combat system. To go easier on Raids, create different modes (easy, medium and hard) with different drops (skins) or diff. probabilities of drops.

    How to turn PvP great again? Easy! NEW MAPS, NEW ELITE SPECIALIZATION.

    Why don't u bring some Battle Royale elements to the WvW? Any. This is the new trend, bring to us something.

    How to turn WvW great again? Some ideas of mine

    • New maps every new season (each 2 or 3 months). Every BL must have the same map or a RNG map (isn't balanced to be stuck at RBL forever) or one huge map to rule us all or thematically change the old maps each new season/relink. Like: Alpine Halloween, Super Adventure Desert... It is fun, new and fresh.
    • New and meaningful mounts for some specific purpose, as elephant mounts to tear down walls.
    • New BLs with floating Keeps n Towers. Flying Mounts to get there or mushrooms to go there.
    • Water combat Maps, with ships (10ppl), frigates (whole blob).
    • Remove the Centaurs, Quaggans, Skritts... from all Borderlands and EBG. Or make them more useful and meaningful.

    There are many creative possibilities for you to follow, all of which bring more people and more money into the game.And don't go back to the wrong ways again, like releasing old expansions for free and giving the old players who bought the game a t-shirt skin. Give us at least free gems!!!!!!!!

  4. I am dissatisfied with the team responsible for Balance Patches.

    My dissatisfaction is not with what has been change, right now, or with the seasonality in which this occurs, my problem is that it seems that the BalanceTeam has been making changes without testing and mainly based on the opinion or video of a streamer that does not represent even 1% of the players of this game/community. It's not why a streamer has a channel in the twitch or YT that means it should be heard at the time of changing or not something. Brainstorm together with the team and decide where the professions and specialization should go, then make the changes. It is unacceptable to have 2 or more re-works in the same specialization as you did in Scrapper, Chrono or Revenant. This only denotes how lost the Balance Team are or how much the watching the "complaing" streamers. And please if a streamer with 300 or less view say the mesmer should be deleted PLEASE do not listen to that.

  5. Why not?

    Why not create a new Expansion being an Expansion with Leveling Maps. Instead of Anet create 4 to 6 new maps, to be played by 80 level characters, why not create 6 new maps (1-15, 15-25, 25-45, 45-60, 60-70, and 70-80), 3 new CORE (only) classes (1 Light, 1 Medium, 1 Heavy), 2 or 3 new races (Tengu, Rapier... whatever), a new personal history (level 1 to 80) (No Zhaitan, Mordrem. or Krakat. dragon)... as if a brand new game. The players could only use the other/older characters in those new scenarios after they, with a new char, finished the new Personal Story.

    To big? is not great idea? U prefer 5 new 80-Level Maps + new masteries blahblahblah?

  6. I'm had lag issues along all last week, only in WvW. This week too.What's going on? Can't play with that ping oscillation.My normal ping is 150 to 200, which is already bad but I live in Brazil so... it's life.But over the course of this week, my ping has oscilated only when I approach enemy players on WvW, suddenly 5k, suddenly 600, back to 150 then 3k...

  7. Not sure about the NA servers, but on EU these ideas will not land very well., They play wvw for a reason and would like to have as little pve in there as possible.

    I just want to see new and good content, as PvE, on WvW.

    You can see a result as the population in the red border. No one wants to go there.Who is "no one"???? Your empty server perhaps.

    The fun part of wvw is massive scale pvp. I can play wvw for 5-6 hrs if i have some decent fights like Blob vs Blob. But i cant even play more than 20 mins against sieges and players hugging tower/keep.Youo ARE not the majority of the WvW players. Speak for yourself.
