  1. Thanks - but, will that get me the achievement? It doesn't seem like it would as it states it has to be from the Scrying Pool?
  2. I'm trying to get the 'Return to the Eye of the North' achievement and the last thing I need to do is "Back to the Past" - revisit and complete a vision of the past mission using the Scrying Pool in Eye of the North... I've got all of the mementos now but when I go to the Scrying pool it gives me the option to select 'Experience a vision of your past adventures' and when I do the menu disappears and a purple type aura surrounds the screen for about 10 seconds, disappears and then nothing happens. Any ideas??
  3. Howdy, So I'm just about to select a skin for Skyscale from the above and just wondered what, in your opinions, is the best one to pick and why? An obvious one seems to be Darkmist Terror, but you can't dye it. I'm currently eyeing up Aurene's Prismatic and Incarnate Flame. Also it'd be interesting to know which skins you regret picking most? (Although all of them I'm sure are still great).
  4. Unless I'm being really silly and not factoring something in the "Weaver's Prowess" trait is supposed to give +10% condition damage and +20% condition duration. Even after considering rounding discrepancies within the skill descriptions, the numbers still don't tie up. For the character I use for example the main sword attack's final swing at rest is 1,713 damage over 5.75 seconds which is DPS of 297. After switching attunements, and then back again to the same skill when "Weaver Prowess" is active it changes to 1,947 over 6.75 seconds which is DPS of 288, and so is in fact worse than before? The duration increase doesn't seem right on numerous other skills also. I've made sure that by switching attunements no other traits or equipment bonuses have any effect so as to skew the numbers. I would expect the description numbers to change to, approximately, 2,211 over 6.75 (just leaving duration as is for now, but on other skills it doesn't tie up even after considering rounding differences). Can other Weaver's possibly have a look at this and try it out themselves to verify?
  5. Is it possible to use a legendary armor/trinket with one set of stats for one equipment template and use the same armor/trinket in a different equipment template but with different stats? I don't suppose it is, but just wanted to check.
  6. Howdy - is there any way to guarantee you won't jump when passing over the blue trigger at a checkpoint? It seems to happen often enough that there must be some way you move over it or something that prevents it... anyone know? Thanks in advance!
  7. Hi guys, Firstly, I'm just curious as to when exactly the Fractals was introduced to Guild Wars 2? Was it present at the beginning of the game or perhaps after HoT, etc.? Secondly, I'm just wondering if there's an easy way to start exploring, learning Fractals from level 1 with other people looking to do the same? It seems the LFG doesn't have anything too suited (Initiate's Group 1-25 being the closest) and the groups just bomb through the levels for dailies, whereas I'd like to actually go through them at my own pace and learn what the hell is going on before it all just ends! Any suggestions?
  8. The Snowball is not listed on the TP so even if they searched for it they'd still likely be suckered... it's within the box which really no newer player would have known about and could very well overlook it, despite the name being the same more or less. I was fortunate enough to get the box from opening a gift and this is how I found about it.. otherwise it's just through Wiki.
  9. The coloured Snowball, however, I assume can only be bought straight from the vendor during the festival along with all other colours?
  10. Hi all, Just a quickie.. from the vendor in Divinity's Reach the Enchanted Snowball costs 10k Karma and 10 Snow Diamonds... however you can buy an Enchanted Snowball Box from the TP for about 50-70 silver which is of course a great deal cheaper which contains the Enchanted Snowball.. Am I missing something here?
  11. So I've returned after a long time and am now wanting to use the Amulet of Celebration & Celebratory Birthday Enrichment I received with my 8th Birthday gift. Problem is I'm entirely sure what stats I should pick.. as I think I would be right in saying that I'm only ever going to get 1 of these and there's no way of getting a replacement of this amulet or resetting the stats presumably? Additionally if I apply the Celebratory Birthday Enrichment I assume I cannot extract it from the amulet to then subsequently use a different enrichment in it? How do people make decisions like these so lightly, or I think I'm just being super anal about this?! 🤪
  12. Thanks guys - so I think a safe summary would be; yes there are some unique items which cannot be exactly replicated (flavour texts, etc.) and only obtained once (or very infrequently) ... it's just a personal choice of how anal you want to be with keeping these items and, if so, being prepared to spend a hell of a lot expanding your storages, etc.? It's just very difficult for me to decide what to do exactly, because GW for me is the sort of game I'd really want to keep a hold of these items (being an original GW player also) but at the same time it would take up a hell of a lot of my time and investment to be able to do this! 🤪
  13. Thanks guys - but my question is not limited to Dreambound. I did not however realise the level scaling weapon functionality was not limited to this weapon and can be obtained elsewhere. However, using Dreambound as the example still, you can get the same functionality.. but the original weapon is still entirely unique in that to get the exact same one (rarity, item description, not transmuted, etc.) you'd need to wait another year for the festival to start again and obtain in that way? Is this any cause alone for anyone to keep the item, regardless of whether it's used or not? I.e. it can only be obtained once a year (which in fact may be common enough for some to destroy it anyway).
