This just happened to me last night. This was incredibly frustrating considering I had beaten the first two mini-bosses and then defeated the corrupted version of my team (4 team members) before stepping into the updraft and being shot out of the instance only to discover that I had to restart again. I put in a ticked with the devs hoping to have them restore my progress at Mordremoth so as to not have to start over. I was soloing the fight, so I hope, at least, that with your teammate, you were able to shave some of that time off the fights instead of the two hours I'd spent fighting before being removed.

Thanks everyone for the replies and guide (and links). Sounds like I've found the right game that won't drag me through the grind as much as others. It's not often, in a MMO, that you're told, "don't worry about builds and just enjoy the class". Seems like I've got plenty to look forward to, so thanks again!

I'm brand new to this game. I've played a few other MMOs, mostly WoW, but needed to get on with my life and give that up. Based on game mechanics, I'm a little lost other than wandering from area to area completing quests and got the initial storyline done. I'm a lvl 25 ranger and really enjoying this game a lot, but could really use some pointers about how to proceed. Do I just need to look around for plausible builds for someone who's going to primarily solo this game and find something that fits or are there good sites to peruse solid builds? Also, I picked up the first two expansions and it said this content will unlock once I hit 80. Is that correct? When do I get to start looking at mounts and where? Any other suggestions about how to proceed, what to look for and is there anything huge that I'm missing? thanks so much!
