Is this still going to happen? been waiting 3 days to complete this quest?

Still an issue a YEAR later how is this not fixed??

I started GW2 again after years of not playing but there is something that's testing my resolve to remain, The game client lost its connection to the server. Need i say more? while not in story mode this is hardly a bother it does not happen often and so it can be easily ignored, however when i just spent the better part of 40 minutes of my free time and it happens right at the end of a story chapter the resolve and enjoyment of continuning very quickly goes down this seems to be a common enough problem where i have stopped trying to do any story content. I have never had this issue with anything else at all no matter game or netflix nothing yet it is an issue with GW2 is there a fix?
