Running it as adminstrator unforunately didn't work for my partner 😞 -
I just ran it as adminstrator (without any restarts or changes) and it worked for me, thanks!

My partner and I are having the same issue. Game sound can be heard but no visuals and it freezes other applications. We play the game completely vanilla (no addons). There goes our evening plans!
