Thanks everyone for replying After moving away from WoW and getting older I was trying to decide to come back and give it a real chance or jump on the FF14 bandwagon. As I am getting older, responsibilities and more casual I think this game is the best choice for me, as I really appreciate the living world, the graphics are stunning (considering) and the flatter gear progression. Plus the Combat mechanics in this game are amazing, to think its been out for over 10 years and i never appreciated it this much, I feel more responsive and agile.

Hi there I am a new player, well honestly I brought the game at launch many years ago but I was stuck on WoW back then so I never really played this game past level 20-30. Just curious if anyone can answer me a few questions regarding the game. does the game really utilize the old areas in the living world, I feel much MMOs tend to forget about the whole world. So I guess my question is as I progress through the story and the Expansions / living world content will the original areas and content be utilized throughout the story and content. as an Example what I hated with WoW was that when a expansion came the all content and gear was now just forgotten about and under utilized, people say its cheap to re use old content but when it comes to story I feel you loose a connection to the world when its no longer relevant so is Guild wars 2 grounded so the world or is it just a yearly "Push you to this new area".
