I've heard it from every MMO company "THIS XPAC SOLD MORE THAN EVERY OTHER XPAC" "WE QUADRUPLED OUR PLAYERS, 2 MILLION PEOPLE PLAY DAILY" I'm sick of it, and the last marketing team I trust is ANet lmao. So tell me the truth boys and girls, SKIP or BUY and WHY?

These are the 2 main activities I usually used to do in GW2: - SPvP/WvW - Fractals I remember I nolifed the game for about a month as well like late last year, I was able to get my Skyscale in 3 - 4 days due to buying out all the food/treats. I was able to get my Fire Weaver up to all Ascended gear which was a big goal of mine and I was also able to hit Plat rank in SPvP. GW2 is fun for me as like a side game, short bursts of no lifing content and then not playing for 1 - 2 years and then coming back and I was looking to see if maybe EoD had anything new or fresh/interesting to play around with. Given the stuff i'm interested in and type of player I am, is EoD at all worth it for me to pursue? Thank you!

My Fire Weaver got killed in 3 seconds by a whirlwind spinning warrior I think? I don't want to spend $30 on this xpac tbh, but i'm so bored I just want to play some brainless DPS that's going to get me kills and be fun to climb with. What am I picking?

I want something that's easy to play and will gank kids from 100 - 0 in both WvW/sPvP. Which spec is OP rn for both?

I go into PvP and it takes 3 min queue and most are just bots. I go into LFG and most are either selling raids/fractal carries or straight up gold seller ads. I go back to popular HoT/PoF metas and it's just infested with bots. The ONLY time I see people ever coming together to do stuff is in metas and that's MAYBE like a thousand people combined across the whole game queueing up for them since it only requires like 40 - 50 people to do most of them. If anything GW2 might have like 50 - 100k players peak daily but nothing more than that, but most likely less. Why is there an active fake news campaign going on trying to convince people 1M people play this game daily lmao?

I'm assuming PvP is unchanged, meta is probably some form of Necro/Rev still just like the past 3 years and WvW is probably on maintenance mode as usual. I kinda liked the S4/PoF story, does this story even come close to that? I saw the bots/turtle mount too but Skyscale is still gonna be top prio so idk if any of the EoD mechanics seem useful to me outside of a one time run through.

I'm not even playing GW2 right now, I was going to come back for EoD but honestly forgot about it with Lost Ark/Elden Ring releases. If people say it's not worth i'm not buying.

Don't give me some Copium, I want it straight to the point. Buy or Skip?
