Tyrs Paladium is a mature guild with a focus on helping people learn and grow as a community! We welcome everyone, from veterans who have been playing since launch to people who bought the game today! We offer a few weekly guild events such as an Introduction to Fractals or Strikes, and often have spontaneous parties forming as our members explore Tyria together! Our goal has always been to provide a friendly home to players no matter their experience, and we are proud to have maintained that reputation for over a decade across several different MMO's! With our Guild Hall fully upgraded, our focus has been on our members. We have held various special events, from Hide & Seek to Tonic Races, to the wonderful chaos that is Splat! We also host raffles occasionally, and last year our grand prize winner walked home with a Generation 3 Legendary Weapon of their choice! Looking for a friendly guild with an emphasis on teamwork and building a community? Excited for Wintersday to arrive? Come apply and join the party! Announcing the first annual Tyrs Week of Wintersday! Starting Friday, December 16 through Friday, December 23, the GW2 Chapter of Tyrs Paladium will be hosting a week long celebration! Megan is running a Wintersday Giveaway every day of the week, culminating in a grand prize package valued at 125 Gold on the 23rd! Speak to her about getting your name entered in the draw! Kestros is running a Secret Santa! Send them your name by Thursday, December 15 and get back the name of someone else participating on Friday, December 16th! From there you have until the 22nd to purchase an in-game gift for the person you were given and send it to the guild officer you are told to. Then, on Friday, December 23 before the grand draw, everyone will be sent their gifts! We will also be scattering various Wintersday themed events throughout the week! From storming the workshop in Toypocalypse to participating in the race around Divinity's Reach and everything in between, we've got something for everyone! My answer is yes, but technically no. I don't get a ton of playtime so haven't gotten the turtle yet, but I have done the meta pre-nerf. Just working on the collection. I voted yes since I'm sure this is more about meta completion than the turtle itself 🙂

Like Disa said, it's not necessarily age itself. More of a certain level of respect and maturity that tend to come with that age. It is a good point though! I actually led the guild when it was first founded in GW2, and was 22 at the time 😁

I've been with Tyrs off and on for years. They're always a blast to hang out with, in Guild Wars and the other games they have set up shop in. If you enjoy team oriented playstyles where camaraderie is valued over game experience, Tyrs could be a great guild for you. While we do offer weekly progression in both raids and fractals, there is also plenty of support for new and returning players. Come for the fun, stay for the people! 😁
