I've been noticing this as well, it's incredibly satisfying when it works but when it doesn't work (vast majority of time) I'm left wondering if that forgotten damage is frontloaded into the final swing that always hits or if Reapers are losing damage entirely. Spectral Grasp also only works half the time, considering taking it off tbh.

Basically, Spectral Grasp simply doesn't work for me most of the time. I use it, it doesn't pull anything. I use it again and it pulls 5 enemies. It actually more often than not just doesn't do anything at all. Is this a known issue? Am I doing something wrong? Should I disable auto attack on the skill? Advice appreciated.

I appreciate all responses and I've taken note to them and started to mess around with Ferocious Symbosis instead. Whether it be due to not having full Ascended or not consuming food/utility before but I simply can't get passed 26-27k DPS. I've made sure the Dummy has all weaknesses and I have all boons (not applied this to my pet as I don't believe this is common practice, could be wrong) and I'm doing my rotation as told, although I'm open to the possibility of messing it up. DPS isn't everything, I agree, but I also don't want to be a detriment to my team when I inevitably push into harder content. I'm doing Strikes daily and typically end out as bottom if I'm Alac DPS and somewhere in the middle or lower high if full DPS. I do want to raid eventually and I absolutely want to get into T4 fractals and thus, feel like I'm doing something wrong or I need to gear up. What could it be? Maybe everything combined? Bad rotation control, non-ascended gear, no food or utilities? Appreciate any further replies.

I'm running full exotic (not sure how much of a difference full ascended would be), full scholar and have my weapon runes and all. I even ate the food and utility recommended. I'm doing this because I want to be useful in strikes and eventually raids as the class that I enjoy the most currently (Power Untamed) but when I whack on the golem with 25 vul and me with all boons, I can literally only get to around 20k-25k dps. The rotation is quite brutal and unrealistic in fights where you have a lot of mechanics to pay attention to or have a boss that moves a lot. I see people do it but I honestly have no idea how and the people that do manage to make it work never really go into detail on how or why. I've actually managed to practice enough to get a general idea of it down and further playing will only make it better but I'm really discouraged by the general difficulty, constant mashing and just how LOCKED IN you have to be in order to even push respectable damage. Any tips for me? Should I just say goodbye to the class that clicked with me the most and try to find something else? Maybe swap to Alac for a potentially slightly easier rotation? Anything advice is welcome, I do care about the spec a lot but I don't want to be a hinderance to my teammates.

Still very much bugged, can't progress the story. I'm a story enjoyer so this is quite sad.

I appreciate all the posts and have read all of them. It seems the general consensus is that Gold is too hard to come by to be converting it for the sole purpose of buying extra bag slots. Buying multiple 18 slot bags is usually enough for most people and I should spend any Gems I get on Bank Space, Material Space and other things that are account wide and have an impact on future characters. Thank you for the posts.

I've recently found out that it costs 25$ to buy all bag slots on a character PER character. This was quite shocking to me because I have a big case of altitis and will very likely be switching my "main" back and fourth. Even still, I wouldn't want my alts to have lesser bag space either to the point where it feels bad. Now to what I want to ask. I see a lot of people complaining about this on the forums but never have I seen someone present a very obvious solution. Converting Gold to Gems. Are people averse to this? I'm a practically brand new player, just hit 80 and about to go into HoT, however I have barely seen anyone mention the gold conversion as a good solution. How hard is it to earn Gold in this game? I asked map chat and was told you can easily make 60Gold a day but I feel if this were the case, people simply wouldn't be complaining so much about the Utility (sort of mandatory imo) space expansion that could easily be purchased with Converted Gold Gems. I'd appreciate any answers to this, I don't personally feel that the Gemstore is egregious in any way due to this but there must be some important value to Gold that me as a new player, simply doesn't understand.
