I am very disappointed to hear this news. I was really confused and pissed off on jumping straight from Zhaitan and into Season 2 and all of a sudden, I've got my own crew, who know me, and I've done all this stuff with them? And evidently I took part in some major events that wrecked Lion's Arch, and there's nothing to explain it? And I'm suddenly supposed to care about these new characters who I the player have never encountered? I thought it was very shoddy, lazy work and was pleased to hear season 1 was making a comeback to bridge the gap.
I do hope you pass on to the story team that there are a lot of people who wish for Southsun Cove events to be brought back as well. Failing that, could you have tell them to at least put a bloody side-note in the Journal, title it maybe: The Southsun Cove incident, and give a short summary about how the Commander knows Canach and Captain Kiel? Please, just SOMETHING to bridge that gap (cause having the Commander have banter with Canach referencing the events but no other information for the player was just very, very bad for story coherency).
