The 40 seconds is apparently only the aegis while the 75 seconds are the boon from activating after the Dormant Courage Cooldown ran out. Virtues -> Inspired Virtues and Virtue of Resolution for example.

Also the Tome 3 says passive Cooldown on the passive boons are 40seconds but the red symbol shows 75 seconds.

Hello everyone, not that it matters but the Valor Grandmaster Trait Tenacious Defense seems to be pretty bad for a grandmaster trait. It is supposed to reduce the cooldown of the F3 by 1 second every time you block with aegis, but they removed the cd of the tomes. This skill is reducing the Cooldown of the Courage passive which is the application of an Aegisbuff which is pretty underwhelming. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tenacious_Defense
