This is still a relevant issue, happened to me aswell when I tried to install the game after a while. I noticed that the installer script from lutris didn't download the GW2-setup64.exe file and the installer crashed. After noticing that I downloaded the installer manually from Anet's website and followed the executable path from the Guild Wars 2 configure tab in Lutris and moved the .exe file there. I had to rename the file aswell to GW2-64.exe from GW2-setup64.exe. After that, the installer launched like before and started downloading the game.
