Hey all, I'm back here looking for a wvw guild. I've been in 3 so far, was kicked from 2 for inactivity (2 weeks due to RL), and left one because of a weird message from an officer telling me to stop repping the guild in wvw because it hurts their reputation. I can't wrap my head around that, so I just left. Had only been in for a day and a half or so anyway. I mostly play my mechanist in wvw, but I have a guardian, thief, renegade, elementalist and reaper. I am willing to transfer realms, but have to wait until payday. PVE wise, I have done up to Xera and I have all expansions and living world seasons. Though, I have not completed the story for lws2, 3, or icebrood. Only 231 masteries, 352 in wvw. A couple weeks away from the legendary backpiece from wvw. I plan to get all 3 sets of legendary armor from wvw. I tag up every day, mostly on red bl but I switch to other maps if reinforcements are needed. I try to remain positive, but I can become frustrated at times under certain conditions. I put RL first though, so if I need to leave to take care of something I will.

Did you read the part where I had very little issue taking t3 camps before, but now die to t2 camps and nearly die to un-upgraded camps? You did answer why my vitality is lower though. I completely forgot about the jade bot. 2 days ago, my mech could tank steve in the lab with little issue. Had no issue with monuments or camps in wvw. Now the mech dies extremely fast. I see a lot of you mocking me and mocking mechanist, but I have yet to see any posts from anet about changing anything past the nerf a little while back. That means these sudden issues are either unintentional, like the yaks not counting for daily yaks, or something got changed and not announced.

You guys can talk trash on people playing mechanist all you want, but something has changed internally with the elite spec.

https://imgur.com/LWcp7 Something has changed. This picture is from today. I have never experienced this before. I could not kill a single guard. Nothing on my character has changed. Before yesterday I could take t3 camps, now I can't take a t2, and barely can take a regular camp.

I've been slapping the yaks, but getting no credit towards daily. I still get the karma and paps though.

none of my stats have changed, but something certainly has. This was not an issue until today, and I haven't changed anything. I have +5 power wvw infusions in everything but armor. So not only should my traits be giving me 10% defense and damage to wvw npc's, but my infusions should add another 8% damage. (missing 1 ring because it's just attuned right now, not attuned and infused.)

I am taking the whole camp, but i generally only have to use skill 1 through 3, and save the rest for unexpected guests. Today, I took several camps, but each time my mech was nearly dead or dead by the last npc, and i was less than 10k health. That has not been an issue until today. Even yesterday that didn't happen. I can't seem to find any notes suggesting they changed anything pertaining to mechanist, but something has for sure changed, and it changed from yesterday to today. https://imgur.com/N0VfP1e

I use to be able to take a camp in wvw as a mechanist and have the ability to respond to a single attacker jumping in for the camp. Now, i and my mech are nearly dead just fighting the camp so if any player comes, we're toast. I have not changed anything on my mechanist, and now I can't play wvw. Plenty of other classes and specs pull a lot more dps and have a lot more survivability that didnt get touched. Thats with the wvw infusions and rank traits that improve my offense and defense against guards. Took too much, and for what reason?

Hello friends, again. Originally I was looking for a wvw guild on Isle of Janthir, but I have decided that I want to expand to look for a guild on any home realm. I am willing to pay the gems to transfer if necessary. I primarily play a mechanist, my wvw rank is 40, and I have the warclaw mount. I am almost entirely in ascended gear and working for more. I do have a necromancer, Mesmer, and guardian as well. My goals are to get wvw legendary gear for all 3 weights, as well as the weapons. I am also working towards goddess of wvw. I have been spending most of my time on the desert map and am currently on red team. I play central standard time and I just got a new computer so I can use discord and map hop as needed.

Hey friends, I'm almost 2 months into my return after 9 1/2 years gone and I've decided I want to focus on wvw since I've completed the pve storyline. I mostly play my mechanist, and am working on building my first set of ascended for her. I have a reaper with a nearly full set of ascended, and I have a guardian and Mesmer. I got my warclaw a couple days ago. I play on a very old computer for now, working on fixing that issue. However, that means I take forever to load zones, so map hopping is not ideal for me. I have been spending my wvw time on the darkhaven map capping camps, killing guards and the occasional pop up rare monster. Being solo, I pretty much get murdered by any group though, which is why I'm looking now.
