I've played gw2 for near 10 years but i have a serious issue with the weaver elementalist and bladesworn warrior. In my experiences in WvW, PvP and PvE playing a character who has no option to swap to a ranged weapon to deal with a situation where they are either; Unable to advance toward an enemy who can harm them OR Put into a position where an enemy will escape by using terrain. This creates a Dissatisfaction for the player who feels helpless. Both characters have mid range options using their respective class Spec but they are unable to effectively escape/ Reengage themselves like they would if they could use a simple Staff(elementalist) or Rifle (warrior). These 2 classes are me and my friend's favored choices but in this current state neither of us enjoy the game. playing other characters becomes a reluctant slog in which we cant enjoy what we have access to otherwise. Revenants are able to of set this issue in some cases but not all. i agree that access to these weapon swaps would create problems but my suggestion is that they recieve a much longer timer before being able to switch again to fill this gap.
