  1. Hey a quick follow up question here. Do the spec tree set ups cater to specific weapon sets? Like for example if I’m playing Shadow arts with D/P but I also want to play S/D should I be changing my talent tree to acrobatics or crit, and can one even change their spec load out? Seems like once I spend the hero points I’m locked. I hope my wording makes sense. Sword dagger is insane fun, but I saw somewhere it has a different build set up than what I’m running now, I’m just wondering how impactful the specs vs weapons are.
  2. I know that this build isn’t beginner friendly, but I’m hoping to master the core thief and understand the profession as I level, instead of boosting. I think the main problem will be when too use my evasion properly, not just random dodging in my rotation hoping for the yolo evade. That will take time for sure, and knowing what enemy profs can do. I don’t mind the backlash for my mistakes, and maybe it’s better too learn the basics of pvp on something more simple. I’m leveling a guard and a Mesmer as well, but my thief is definitely my favourite.
  3. Hi I’m a new player, I’ve fallen in love with the thief play style and I want to do pvp at max level as D/P daredevil. I’ve been doing research during my free time, and I’ve seen someone say that this build has fallen off recently in spvp, something about power spikes from other professions. Not sure how that applies because I’ve never done pvp in gw2. I want to know if there’s validity to this statement. I enjoy the spec but i don’t want to commit to learning a sub par build, as fun as it seems. I understand this spec shines best as a wvw roamer but I want to play 5v5 when I get to max I’m only level 35.
