Apologies. I actually found the mail I needed in the list. Salma District Woes It was marked as read, but I completely missed it when I tried to find it. I think I did receive the mail once and I restarted the quest. I never got a second copy like other quests would typically do. That's where my confusion came from. All sorted now. Thank you.

Hello. I have a bug where the quest Prologue: Uncertain Times is stuck on "Read the mail from Faren". I do not receive mail from her, and my inbox is currently 0/10. I have tried pressing [Quit this Chapter] in the quest log, starting a new quest, and then reactivating but I still do not receive mail from Faren. Any tips on how I can fix this?

Well, I'm using Windows 10, DirectX 12. That's not going to help me. I literally can't do Story quests because I will crash during any little hiccup 75% of the time. It's disheartening to get to the end of a long quest and then crash in the final cutscene. Looking at other guides on this issue, I can see it goes back 10 years, since release. I know now that my issue will never be resolved since there seems to be no fix; Just the nature of the game.

As the title says, this random but frequent crash has been happening since I joined GW2 two weeks ago. I came to this game with 3 of my friends and I'm the only one with these crash issues. My system is also brand new in comparison. It happens randomly, most often when I complete a mission that ends with the cutscene dialogue (causing me to need to redo the entire mission) or after opening the Black Lion Trading Company window. This usually works fine, but on occasion, the window will not load properly (no drop boxes/ search boxes) or loads with default html looking text, typically resulting in a crash. By far, the most annoying is crashing after completing a mission. Reddit and Youtube are no help. There's a hundred different vague solutions that aren't relevant out there. I need a real, solid solution for this.
