So, I've been taking a break from GW2 for a little while now; I decided to play some more the other day so I installed it and upon launching it crashes immediately. I got this crash. Scrolled to the bottom and it says "Coherent GPU process crash: GpuProcessCrashed" I look around and on protondb somebody posted a potential "fix" which is "-ignorecoherentgpucrash" in the launch options. Okay, easy! I punch that in, launch the game then get this graphical bug. Completely unable to interact with it other than with my keyboard. I accidentally got the "remember password and email" ticks with my mouse though it was not anywhere near where they visually were. Hit enter to launch the game and it actually works! That is unless I interact with the many in-game browsers like for instance the in-game shop, the trading, etc.
Any other users getting these issues/ knows how to fix this? The game is rated platinum on ProtonDB with many users getting it to work OOTB making me question if this is a problem unique to me or a very recent issue.
Secrets of the Obscure finally hooked me and now I've been looking for a guild. Open (and excited) to doing PvP someday but right now I would like to focus on everything else. I would love to hear more about this guild, seems really active with stuff to do always.
