  1. My bad, I had a moment of stupidity where I thought I thought that was the only portal at the time. (I mostly access the mists through the UI anyway) True but the commander is hardly your average tyrian. Even at the start of the game you're implied to have more lived experience than others of your race (with the exception of Silvari of course) True, honestly I'm equally interested in what information is accessible to them if they sought it out - as much as what they know for sure. Either way, thank you for the context as well as for clearing up some of my misconceptions. Your post was very helpful. Thank you..
  2. With primordius gone and the dragon cycle quelled I want to see an expansion about the depths. Most importantly I want a Return to Quora Sum. It would be fun to humble the Asura as they learn how much they got wrong about their pre-surface history and interactions with the skitt. but also I want to learn about the aftermath of the ritual of the great dwarf. If they became single minded in their efforts to destroy Primordius then they clearly failed but have any dwarves survived to the present day? Whether they have or not there's a lot of story potential discovering their legacy. On the opposite hand I would love a "return to Central Tyria" expansion. Tyria is currently littered with Debris and assets left behind by a decade old plotline. It's time to rebuild and reset.
  3. Durring "Connecting the Pieces" in living world season 1, Ellen Kiel says she'll "clear you to enter the mists portal" this seems to suggest that this is the commander's first time visiting the mists canonically. However, mist warriors attempt to recruit anyone and everyone they can grab the ear of - which implies anyone can visit the mists at any time. Furthermore, Skimming through the wiki there's a lot of information about the mists only known by a handful of people and very little known by everyone, but deciphering how much is actually known and by who is a pain. How is it that common knowledge of the mists is even more obscure than it's secrets? But here's my more serious question: at the start of the game and over certain plot milestones how much would information would be available to the commander, assuming they put in the research?
