I want to be clear that this is not an issue of Epidemic targeting invulnerable targets, but ones that no player would be able to hit with any ability at all. This issue applies across the entire game, with projectiles arbitrarily targeting cages in the Aquatic fractal, the center of the platform in the Xera raid, the hand AoEs in the Deimos encounter and now are targeting attacks created by ritualist enemies in End of Dragons. I suspect this is being caused by how hitboxes are used to create attacks at locations, but it's a very visual projectile skill to have this affect, and feels bad to see a bright green projectile go nowhere and hit nothing important. As a side note, this also affects Spectral Grasp, and is currently allowing for players to output more CC than what would otherwise be intended in encounters for much the same reason (as both skills largely select targets the same way, mostly independent of the player themselves).
