Oh goodie. I wasn't going to update my MBP until I heard that and read that if the application wasn't 32-bit that it wouldn't be supported but luckily it is so I'm super happy I can play.

I was going to go nuts, but at least it's being addressed. I never really had much of an issue with crashing in GW2 until this very update and it's a little frustrating to see this happen now but I do hope we all get to play before the event ends.

Update: So I tried your solution, and somehow it worked...I suppose that works for the time being.

And the bug after all of this time still has not been fixed. I'm getting really, really tired of this bug becoming more and more of a problem for me to not even be able to complete my personal story, after all of the time. Fix this bug, for the love of all that is holy, FIX IT!

As have I, unfortunately, I'm unclear as to how long this bug will take to fix but it starting to become extremely annoying. I don't know why, but I think it has something to do with the Logan Thackery NPC. What was odd about it is just before the "Hold out as the glory of Tyria tracks Zhaitan” and the previous step where you have to clear out the towers for the ground team, the Logan NPC is still present despite him "sacrificing himself" when we needed to get the power cores. Perhaps that might be issue alongside the NPC's not triggering to help in fending off the various assaults from Zhaitan and only come when the enemy AI is close by.
