Update* After I defeated the Eater of Souls I made sure not to get too close to Joko so that Nenan says her whole statement about leaving. The instance finished properly after that.

I am also having this problem. Attempted The Departing twice this morning and disconnected both times after defeating the Eater of Souls and Joko stops talking.
