Seems that helped, she was using yahoo but her google worked just fine and didnt get the error.

So I've tried getting a few friends into GW2 since the basic is f2p, might tempt them to stick around and all. But theyve both been stonewalled at account creation by 'unspecified error' during account creation. Is there an established reason for this? Ive tried searching but there seems to be no official word on it and if it persists, they'll want to go elsewhere. Any fixes or info would be a big help in extending their patience on this matter.
