  1. Thank you for the response, and as of 10 minutes ago I will happily take it as headcanon. Reflecting as to why I feel differently about this than the other posters here, I realized that I had received third-hand experience (very indirect) of such thing just last year. Nevertheless, given this conversation just got above my paygrade, and that I prefer continue playing this as a video game, I no longer wish to continue this conversation.
  2. Can you link wiki or quote words? I don't remember this was the case. Empress gave permission to investigate Aetherblade over Li's wishes, not get in touch with Joon by any means necessary, but that can be something easy for them to retcon.
  3. I don't disagree. But in real-life, I have been told by preachers that I will die in hell (cause I am ignorant about their religion) way more times than firefighters saving me from any real fire.
  4. The evidence provided is for blowing up of the reactor, not that the world is going to end. Even ignoring the fact that my character is an imperialist, which is supported by the fact that "war room" scene afterwards is represented mostly Tyrians not Canthans, how is the story any more plausible? If I broke into a woman's house in any country in this world, I would be in jail.
  5. Convincing someone by destroying their home security system? I found this part of the story implausible. I also felt unclean from this fight as now my character is a Tyria imperialist, forcing his belief that "world is going to end" upon Canthans without evidence. Couldn't Soo-Wan or Aurene have given key Canthans a vision like they did for the Player Character???
