Hey, I last played the game years ago when dps staff ele was "ok" in spvp and wvw roaming and great in zergs. You probably couldn't kill a good player 1v1 but at least waste a lot of their time with all your aoe cc's, and you could be very useful adding onto a fight in process from range. You could be even squishier when running arcane utilities but have enough damage to almost instagib someone. And once someone was down... ressing would be almost hopeless through your aoe damage . I liked it for being a very traditional mage concept, slow, massive aoe skills whose numbers were op on paper and really strong in practice with some setup/cc coordination/ if ignored, but would really struggle without support and could more or less instadie to assassin builds. So can staff ele still do this? Is there any ele build that can?
