The attack speed bonus you get from this trait is overwritten by quickness.  That just leaves the 20% recharge reduction on scepter skills.  This is a GM level trait that is worse than similar weapon cooldown + effect traits, which are primarily master tier for main hand weapons (zealous blade for guardians, forceful greatsword for warriors, heck, even fencer's finesse).

     

    It might be worthwhile if the 20% attack speed stacked with quickness... Alternatively, why not give it something a little more synergistic with the illusions line, like allowing you to stack an extra clone/dagger (like how with thief you can get bonus initiative), summon a double illusion, etc..., or apply a unqiue debuff when you shatter that increases condition damage on the target?

If the problem was that DPS was too high for the amount of quickness given, just reduce the amount of quickness on jade sphere and adjust scaling so that quick catalyst had to go harder into boon duration (and therefore give up damage stats).  This whole nerf is absurd and destroys the entire point of the spec (being able to generate lots of combo fields with your jade sphere), which is why they changed it in the first place from beta.

     

    For the record, I don't think the DPS was too high.  Maybe on a golem, but that's not real gameplay in practice, and the amount of effort it took to get that DPS is absurd compared to other specs.  The effort:reward ratio for this class is broken.

    You get your red orb of shame at least.  I made transendence right before the leg amulet giveaway announcement and support said no reefunds.

    But what about current slumbering trinket owners? We’re going to be adding a vendor to the game that will allow you to upgrade any slumbering trinket to the fully awakened version

     

    Will this vendor have a cost associated for the upgraded version, like with the current mystic forge requirements?  Or will the base recipe post-July 13 be set to the current slumbering version?  

     

    Just curious if there is any benefit/penalty for crafting a legendary trinket this weekend or waiting for the 13th.
