  1. Your donation was received and logged! Sorry for the delay in response. Since in-game mails don't have the account name written down, only the character name, I didn't automatically associate your account name here with the in-game mail ^^° I send thank you messages back to every person who donated, but since sending mails to a lot of people in GW2 is tricky (if you send more than 1 mail per minute, you get suppressed), it's possible I accidentally got suppressed and didn't notice.
  2. Hey ^^ Looks like after posting the fundraiser on the Discord and in our reddit post, this one completely slipped my mind! Thanks for the reminder ❤ I've updated it now - the fundraiser can be found at https://www.justgiving.com/tyriapride2021
  3. Prizes will be raffled out to both EU and NA together from the same pool, or in case of smaller, more divisible prizes (e.g. a batch of ectos), split so both EU and NA receive prizes from two identical pools. 🙂
  4. Hi ^^ The best place to go is the Tyria Pride discord, where you can self-assign the "want to help" role ^^
  5. Hello friends! While the world certainly seems to have flipped upside down in the past year and a half, I'm happy to report that Tyria Pride 2021 will be happening on June 26 & 27, on both NA and EU servers! ■■■■■■ ■ What is Tyria Pride? Tyria Pride is an annual event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and our allies both in-game and out, and raises funds for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation which helps LGBTQ+ people around the world escape state-sponsored persecution and violence! It's a 2-day event with a 6 year history, as part of
  6. We've highlighted 3 black-led / LGBTQ+ funds/organisations in our fundraiser, and we're also looking for more ways to boost important causes around the world. We created a channel on our discord where people can add organisations, funds, and movements which we'll highlight during the event!
  7. I must confess it took me a while to read "number 1 shaved stubble cut" as my brain kept interpreting that as some other phrase that rhymes with "stubble cut". Here is the route map: http://www.theopencommunity.org/images/extras/TyriaPride_Path.jpg We usually don't distribute the route maps too much, since, even if you know the correct route, you still have to stick with a volunteer in order to get on the same map as everyone else, and depending on the time, organisers may choose to take a detour or shortcut. We used to put out the route map with timestamps of approximately when we'll be in w
  8. This year we made a little promo video as well to get everyone properly hyped up!
  9. It's been a weird year! Many of us are stuck at home, missing our communities. Many pride events around the world are being cancelled. But luckily, there's no social distancing in GW2, so Tyria Pride 2020 is coming!Tyria Pride is an in-game march through Tyria, aimed at showing support for our LGBTQ+ friends & guildies, and raising funds for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation that helps LGBTQ individuals escape persecution and violence! Just like the years before, both NA & EU will be travelling on the same routes on the same day, and raising funds for Rainbow Railroad, a ch
  10. BTW - we have a bunch of pre-events going on, if you're interested, here are the deets: Fashion WarsSince we don't visit them throughout the march, we'll be visiting each racial capital with the Fashion Wars event! We'll visit a different city each Saturday or Sunday, and in each city, members of that race will compete in a fashion wars event, with an overall winner being announced on Day 1 of the main Tyria Pride event! All Fashion Wars events start at 20:00 CEST on EU, and at 3 PM EDT on NA! The theme is "Rainbow", and the grand prize for the overall winner includes custom character artwork
  11. It's that time of the year again! Everyone's dressed in colorful outfits, bringing out their most brilliant dyes, and the bridges of Tyria are quaking in anticipation. It's happening! Tyria Pride 2019 is coming!Tyria Pride is an in-game march through Tyria, aimed at showing support for our LGBTQ+ friends & guildies, and raising funds for Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organisation that helps LGBTQ individuals escape persecution and violence! Just like the years before, both NA & EU will be travelling on the same routes on the same day! When do we meet? The events start at 16:00 CEST [E
  12. Hello, everyone! June is just around the corner, and just like every year, we will be organising Tyria Pride, an in-game march across all of Central Tyria to show support to our LGBTQ+ friends & guildies! The Tyria Pride event is planned for end of June, our current most likely candidate being the 2nd to last weekend of the month! On top of that, we're hoping to do tons of pre-events all around June, and here's where you come in! To pull this off, and make Tyria Pride bigger than ever, we're inviting everyone to join us on the Tyria Pride volunteer / planning meeting, which will be happeni
  13. For the EU time zones please note: Our current time zone in Central Europe is CEST, so when converting make sure you don't put in "CET" - it is 1 hour earlier and is the time zone that becomes active after October 28th. And for our British friends, remember that GMT is not your current time zone. Your current time zone is BST, which is GMT+1, until October 28th! 17:00 UTC18:00 BST (Great Britain)19:00 CEST (Central Europe)
  14. Oh right, I forgot - if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or message me (Lelling.6795) in-game! If you can't spot me online, send me a mail and I'll reply to it as soon as I log in!
  15. Thanks so much for joining everyone! If you have any comments, feedback, etc. for next year, feel free to write them here, or message me in-game! Here's already some stuff we noticed: We did notice a large amount of people who struggled with joining the group by themselves - either not knowing how to use the LFG, or that you can join a squad without asking for an invite. This is information that we'll add to the info post! We'll also be adding a strict time when exactly LFGs will be up, when we start gathering, and when we start marching. For some people, starting at 16:00 CEST meant they'd al
