    Presume this is the right place to put this. Don't have any solid evidence to support this but since the POF release my GFs version of the game on Mac has crashed about 4-5 times in the space of 2 hours game play, compared to the last few weeks of gaming which had 2 crashes mid game. She has most of the graphics and char limits set to low or lowest to stop most crashes as well.
