    don't get me wrong dude, I haven't been playing wow classic for the same reason, but gw2 classic is imo a lot better than what the games become. I know I'm at least not the only one that thinks this as I've had talks with most of my friends that play/played gw2

    um no its not, even if you yourself don't buy the expacs you are still forced to use the systems that came out of those expacs, their are a ton of systems that where removed from the "core" game and replaced with different systems, traits being the biggest example, and the old system imo made build crafting a lot more in depth than the system we have now, not to mention the new system drastically changed the balance of the game (picture of the old trait system attached for refrence)

  3. in wvw the nerfs to stealth gyro where needed, (both in the increased CD and the now increased reveals in the game from swapping tool belts around) though I do not agree with the condi gyro cleanses, scrapper on its own has enough cleanses but the issue comes from anti toxin that basically doubles them

    I haven't seen half as many Scrapper players as I did ever since the nerf of all the barrier they got. I'd like to know where the decision came from to give them further nerfs.

    The nerf to purge gyro is unreasonable imo. Every class deserves a decent condition cleanse.

    while I agree the nerf is not needed, engi has a ton of condi cleanse outside of the gyro

    That's not a solution. That's ignoring the problem.

    Blast gyro was notorious for getting caught on minor bits of scenery, rocks, and stairs.

    You mean where medkit Scrapper got nothing but nerfs (though admittedly I do kinda like Damage Dampener)? Ye I play it. Why?

    then you'd know it is still one of the top picks, the only part of the support that class provides that they got ride of was the small bit of healing rapid regen gave

    bro I'm garbage at wvw, and I have over 1000 hours on the game mode

    for the op though they are most likely just annoyed with how long it assumingly took to kill you, it gets dull to have to fight someone for 10+ minutes to kill them when they hit like a wet noodle so you'd have to unplug your key board in order to lose to them, though if you are running bunker why are you not with another player so they can make up for your lack of damage?

    I'd like them if they where optional traits (like a adept, major, or grand master) not a minor trait, as well as provide buffs that make it worth having the penalty, scrapper is mainly played as a support in wvw, so they will rarely be dealing damage as is, so the"positive" of the trait will go largely unused (not to mention it gimps what the update was suppose to be about has the max barrier you can have is based off you HP)

    Magnetic Inversion (shield 4 blast) although not a instant blast, it is the only mobile blast finisher we have and detonation is instant after activating it.     hammer 3 counts as 2 leap finishers that can also be used to trigger it, as well as having a field from hammer 5 to actually give one for that trait to proc, and at least in wvw most groups stop and stack before a big push, so its easy to throw down med kit 5 during that to have speed for a push

  10. you know I just realized while readin through these replies, if they really wanted to go with the whole barrier tank thing, they should have kept rapid regen (maybe change its name to match the new effect) but switch it to barrier instead of healing

  11. now I'm no game dev, and I'd like some clarification from the devs, but wouldn't damage dampener only cause the enemies on hit sigils to have a second chance to proc? because that sounds like it only makes it a hindrance to the player, also really don't like them moving mass momentum to adept, it would have given support scrapper good access to stab but now it has to compete with their main source of super speed
