    If you want to craft the weapon yourself, put effort into the game modes the materials require.

    If you absolutely can't be bothered with WvW, you can always to buy a weapon or simply with Ascended weapons instead.

    Now, if Arenanet made GoB available from sPvP, that'd be a different matter. But we both know that 99,9% of these threads are about putting it into PvE, which needs to not happen.

    Armor was mentioned as an example of proper design, so anet is aware that the old design sucks.

    I wanted to love wvw and i did so years ago, now its a complete shitshow. Thats the point. And youre forced to endure said shitshow because of a legendary you plan on making.

    someone with reading comprehension might realize but i do have all boosters running, yes even the snow gobbler, but thanks for promoting afking for 4 hours, lovely, riveting gameplay

    specific reward eh? must be the reason anet is pushing lego armors for each game mode instead of mixing

    nobody wants to overpay a premium when you can craft it just need something you cant buy,

  4. And that's coming from someone who did clock in a quite a few hundred hours in it. After a year or so hiatus, seeing the reward track buff, I went in again, to get the final material for a legendary, and what a mistake. I'm suffering through the track as I write this and I can't kittening put into words how kittening infuriating this gameplay is.

    WvW is in shambles, its easily in the worst state it's ever been balance wise, at least for my server. I'm sure the other two curbstomping us is having fun :^) I'm sure the immortal willbenders with 100% stability, resistance uptime and top raid tier dps are having a kittening blast as well.

    It's not fun. At all. The outnumbered buff does nothing besides giving another reason to keep throwing your dead body at a wall. Lot of the skills are bugged as hell, letting people pull you from ~2000 range, or even through the goddamn door.

    i did have it but i downloaded it 3 days ago or so, i uninstalled just in case but the crash still happened

  7. Happens during alt tabbing, most notably when a video of any site is playing in the background. The system doesn't record anything other than the usual the system shut down unexpectedly error. Only gw2 does this, no other games, and only since the latest patch. GPU driver is a stable older one from early this year, since that was working the best, and the newer versions fix nothing relatable to my card or the game.

    Entire pc locks up, sound freezing and replaying constantly that quarter a second as the screen freezes, only restart helps.

  8. Pause map closing timer during meta

    .It's really irritating when you're at the final boss of a not too frequented meta, with a full squad mind you, but that's not enough to remove the map closing timer, so the timer ends during the boss, only to get booted into another map in the same place, where you have no other option just to die, because you can't tp out(taking damage) and can't go out(closed doors from meta)

    Basically, the EU passed a low about gambling, partially as a result of like Lootcrate type services, but in effect it also attacked in-game "games of chance" in any instance where real world money could be somehow converted into playing that game of chance.

    Since one could technically use real world money to buy gems, convert that into gold, use the gold to buy ecto, then use the ecto to "gamble" on the hands of Sandstorm (game from casino in Crystal Desert)..... which is the ONLY way to get the Supreme Rune of Holding..... We players got effected by that damned EU law.

    As a result, Anet put a "20 per day" limit on the number of rounds you can play in the Sandstorm game.... this  caused the rune price to go from about 8g to 22g within a week (announced in game update at the start of May 2023). It has some what gone down since then.... but still more than double what it was in April, and close to triple what it was a year ago.

    To correct the issue, Anet needs to either make the runes drop much more often while keeping the 20 hands per day limit..... or they need to provide some other method in the game to get the runes which is not time gated via the anti-gambling laws of the EU.

    The 20 per day limit doesn't really defend the fact that to get the material to craft, you have to use gambling which each hand with a proper chance costs around 160 gold... The EU has nothing to do with this, and actually sounds like a schizopost. Sure the limit may affect it but bottom line is, you reduced the cost to only one bag expansion, instead of 2, for an upgrade thats less than a bag expansion's price.

    20k points in wvw is grindy on its own. And if all we miss is more ascended so be it. Most important is ascended weapon and armour piece. But mats for crating are also good. Could be keys.

    These can be used to buy Grandmaster Marks, which in turn can be used to buy ascended gear, both in WvW and PVP, and even at the fractal traders.

  11. Just finished hammering at the boss for 10 minutes straight. I have a raid dps build and we had about a full squad of people, that are veterans, and a few low level hanging around.

    The boss is just way too tanky, while posing no challenge at all. The new moves are nice, but the damage can be pretty much ignored. I've been standing in overlapping ice storms casually ressing some other guy, who died afking in them.

    The damage really needs some increase, to actually challenge and teach new people, as well as not making high level players afk on it. A lower hp pool would make the fight an actual fight instead of a chore as well.

    Fire Elemental for example, is great on all accounts. Sure that takes 10 minutes of hammering as well with that hp pool, but due to the damage and other hazards it's actually engaging.

I don't know what was the plan here, but it's pretty hard to dps when she spends 70% of the time given being untargetable, and the rest being pretty much invulnerable because we have to go get her tail. Maybe we just got unlucky with the attacks because we had to breakbar her twice in the whole meta, not counting the whirl one, but if that's a case, then it's yet another thing to fix. There are too many instances where she dashes on the platform to get to the other end with her tail changing position as well, wait a hot second or maybe 2 if we're lucky, and do it again to change back.

  13. I was looking forward to the elementalist, as I generally have more fun with it than say warrior or revenant. For me, it really underperformed.

    Let's start with the Sphere.

    I feel like it suffers from the same problem the Rollerbeetle did when it got released. You start out with 0 energy, and it fills slowly. It lasts long but it feels weak, which only helps in point control situations. Chances are you won't be fighting for 15 seconds in a 400 unit area.
    A great solution to this would be adding some initial energy, like what revenant has, reducing the duration and improving the effects or the tick rate of the spheres.

    Augments feel clunky. Getting stunned right in front of your sphere, making you use your lightning augment without the bonus doesn't feel too good. The augments also have a rather long cast time for something that feels like a waste if not used in a sphere corresponding to the element. Would feel much better if it would check if the caster is in the sphere at the ticks instead of the time of casting.

    The orbs, for how weak they feel, last for so little time, that some hammer skills cannot be used reliably before switching attunement and casting the sphere again. Namely the lightning and earth 2nd skills. Some synergy traits would feel nice, given that most of the catalyst trais are just flat % buffs. For a rather close range profession the orbs also feel too far away to actually cause passing damage, leaving it up to grand finale to actually deal some.

    Now that the orbs are out of the way, let's end it with the long one, the hammer skills. Pretty much all of them feel slow, even with quickness.
    Fire
    1. Some minor splash damage without the burning applied would feel nice, or if the projectile and cast speed was sped up a bit, because right now both are extremely slow. Or maybe piercing, as hammer 2 has that.
    5. For a massive flame blast, one would expect to set some targets on fire, or maybe deal more damage than something with 3rd of the cooldown.
    Water
    The only heal there, including the sphere, is the 4th leap skill, which is also the only gap closer in the entire hammer set for a mostly close range profession.
    Lightning
    2. Adding some slow debuff or replacing vulnerability with it would be much more reliable. Also, it's a spin to win skill with no whirl finisher to it, for a profession that should focus on combos.
    5. Feels unreliable with the combination of cast time, travel time and activation time for the stun.
    Earth
    2. Is rather slow, and doesn't have a whirl finisher either.
    Now that I mentioned. Each attunement has only one finisher.

    You'll end up with about 370 extra hero points by the endgame. There is literally zero reason to do that. Might be a bit noob friendly being able to respec any time but this is not call of duty to please the casualest of them all.

  15. A mystic forge recipe for Mystic Clover.Its already really hard to get and risky if you want to do it the "cheap" way. There are a lot of ascended materials that just lay around doing nothing but the droprate is insane. Sure sure its useful for legendary crafting. But not THAT MUCH.Could just combine a stack of Dragonite, Bloodstone and Empyrial to a gift, Airship Oil, Auric Dust and Ley Line spark into another, add obsidian shard and some mystic crystal or smth and bam, a reasonable recipe for a high end material.
