  1. As it seems the latest patch fixed it all for me. No issues any more, at least nothing too unusual and I've been able to set everything back to the settings I always had 🙂 Thanks everybody, I'm happy again 🥳
  2. That really sounds like some memory issues and huge optimization needed. I think the memory thing also is part of the deal for me, with the problem getting worse. I recognized that a restart of GW2 also helps, therefore it doesn't require a complete system newstart. Aside from that, the fps and hz seems to be the other part. It's at least better now that I've changed it... not yet perfect, but it's playable again. I guess I have to adjust it a bit further and hope for better vsync somewhere down the road. All these problems are definitely worse on the soto maps, I guess thats just another hint, that optimization is very much needed 🥸
  3. Hi, what is the exact error message you get and in what situations in particular does it crash? Can you even start the game or does it happen when you do something ingame? Do you have similar problems with other games or just GW2? And are you sure, that your graphic driver and all other drivers are up to date? Hope that'll bring some more insight, thanks.
  4. sorry, I totally forgot to say, that I wiped GW2 completely from my system and made a new installation. Before doing so, I deleted every single folder related to GW2. Unfortunately it also didn't help 😞 My newest idea is, that something's off with the vertical sync. My screen was set to 100 Hz and GW2 limited to 60 fps. I guess that would at least fit to the problems I have. I've put both to 60 now and will try it later or tomorrow. I'll let you know if it helps 🫠 Well, that's another option - but I hope a little bit it's me, because then I have the chance to do something about it... otherwise it would be just wait and hope for a solution to come. But what you're describing sounds a bit different I think. In general I don't have any performance problems, every texture and object loads just fine, after a loading screen I'm often the first one on the map and also during the first 30min ingame, there's no issue at all. Even when the screen stutters, the animations around me just continue, like nothing happened.... well, just me happened 😅
  5. Hi, since soto has been released I'm experiencing some really weird lags or freezes. It's not like the fps drops down, because I can still see everything happening around me without any problems, fps also stays constant, it's more like my own computer pauses for 2-3 seconds. I can't move the mouse, every command active stays active - for example when I'm typing in chat while it happens, it looks like "thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis" 😉 also camera is frozen in the meantime (which could be due to the fact, that I can't move the mouse) and sounds pause for a moment as well. I never had the problem before soto or at any point in the past. Also GW2 is the only game so far I have this problem with (but maybe I need to try more games). In soto maps it seems to be worse than on other maps, but after a while it appears whatever I do. When I start the game it's fine for a while and also when I restart my computer. I'm absolutely out of ideas what could be the problem. I have updated all drivers and windows updates. I connected the internet via LAN. I have tried a lot of screen options, including different graphic settings and vsync ingame and on the monitor itself. Next step would be to change the monitor I guess.... but I'm open for every advice. My System: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G (i can assure, that the onboard graphics are not used) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 MSI X470 Gaming Plus Mainboard 16 GB DDR4 Ram 1 TB SSD LG 34WQ65X LCD-Monitor - 2560x1080 px (every time I start GW2 it resets my resolution to 1920x1440) Thanks in advance and I hope there's somebody out there with a lifesaving hint for me 🙂
