  1. TBH this post looked better In my head but Since I started Whiting it I decided that I can post it anyway @Dadnir the biggest problem with GW2 is that people Cannot read dagger is great Power damage weapon pre-HoT I wrote it it’s great Power damage until HoT and reaper Do I really misunderstand how e-specs work? Maybe but probably the devs aren’t sure how it’s meant to work either. I am certain that giving harbinger power traitline is dogshit idea is it meant to outclass reaper? If yes it is stupid if not why waste 3 potentially good traits to make them useless power traits that work the same way as condi traits but instead of condition damage trait says power damage Elixirs can have the option of boon sharing - yeaaa I noticed, does it mean you can provide boons in the way other classes that provide boons can? No Does it mean that elixir effects are irrelevant right now? Yes right now the only use of elixirs is generating blight youw ill nto maintain might/fury or any defensive boons by using them so harbinger can only provide quickness by just being hwo engaging as for blight being kitten mechanic that you build and it does nothing well it is even worse than you wrote blight gives you the bonus % damage if you have the power or condi trait if you go the way of elixirs – correct me if I’m wrong but blight only reduced your hp and that is all ? I’m pretty sure I am missing something about the blight right now I agree that overuse of torment is kind of bad thinking of pistol I expected poison I do not think you can build it into healer it will definetly be condi dps that’s rather obvious if they improve elixirs than maybe boon support but for now only quickness is gonna have big uptime @Asum TBH I do not think the spec being squisher than ele is a bad thing we can now play well not die and flame ele mains that they complain about low HP pool and honestly we don’t know what new stat combos will come with expansion maybe viper but instead of power you get vitality so we can have more than ele but less than we have now
  2. Yo I realize that I am late with my feeback but I am lazy and even tho I had planned a few things I want to say about the new elite spec I'm gonna be stuck with I couldn't get myself to log into the forum and write it all down. I hope someone actualy reads it and takes at least part of it into consideration while future changes or balance patches. First I'd like to say that I am necro main and by that I mean that I only play necro I have a couple hours on other classes but it is purely to learn what they do so I know what to expect from enemies in pvp. I played necro since the launch of gw2 throughout gw1 and before that in Diablo 2 and I never thougth about swapping classes. Why the things that I'm gonna say might actually be right? well I am rather experienced PvX player I'm rank 3k in WvW, g3/p1 in PvP in PvE hmmm around 1.2k LI 38k UFE (I don't think KPs reflect player's ability to play well but at least it shows that I played something) I played and completed almost all content mostly in pug or premade groups that were not much better than pug and I have some ideas what the class needs. So Harbinger I'm not gonna lie I was disappointed by the spec before I even saw what the skills do. Wow how stupid disapointed before I saw skills how am I gonna say something that makes sense if I am that dumb... My disappointment came purely from the weapon obviously I didn't know anything else about the spec before the skills preview only thing we knew was that it is gonna be pistol. But why was I disappointed? Necro has wierd weapons I cannot say that they are weak but they are lacking. Scepter -good range condi boonstrip a bit of life force generation Axe good range power damage a bit of boonstrip a bit of life force generation Main hand dagger great power damage in melee untill HoT and reaper now great life force generation for healscourge has some uses like PvP miniomancer but it need rework Staff very good range utility weapon great in PvP and WvW but it's neither power nor condi definetly not support I love this weapon but it kind of feels outdated even though it is still best weapon for pvp off-hand dagger good condi weapon boonstrip condi tranfer good in pvp and wvw but in pve if you play condi scourge it's for some reason not worth using it Warhorn cool CC swifthness that puts you in combat and generates life force IDK I like it I use it every day and yet I feel that it needs some love Focus strong boonstrip and damage a bit of vulnerability life force generation strong in pvp and wvw not worth using in pve Greatsword amazing weapon cool animations good damagel but inferior to staff in pvp Torch skills might be good but they are only 2 of them since it's offhand yeaa I just listed necromancer's weapons good job I skipped underwater weapon because ppl would stop reading if anyone is actually reading it so what about it now? In my opinion necro has strong range weapons both in terms of damage and utility strong melee weapon as reaper and somehow lacking off hand weapons - do not misunderstand me I know they are good but yet they lack something they could get some love in some future balance patch so for example pve power reaper would have option either utility CC offhand or more dps offhand but what I expected from Harbinger weapon ? I was hoping for either hammer or two swords because these are cool looking weapons and I belive necromancer needs a few mroe utility skills so 2 handed weapon or dual wield swords would be my pick. pistol would be at the bottom of my wishes for necro weapon but it's only a weapon ok I accept it I can wait see proffesion mechanic maybe I won't hate it as much as I hate scourge. My reaction to the Harbinger when I saw the entire kit? cool I can play it I don't dislike pistol skills(hammer would be better but ok) I love the shroud BUT the traits are wierd and I get no new utility skills. Wait what? traits wierd? no new utility skills? am I dumb? There are 9 traits like every class and there are the great elixirs but there are multiple problems about them. Traits are confsuing is it power spec that is going to outperform reaper as power dps or is it condi spec that outperforms scourge or maybe it provides quickness to the party? oh yea it does it all and that the problem Harbinger SHOULD NOT have any power traits the traitlines should be condi traitline boonsupport (meaning improve the elixir traits and the autoquickness) and the power traits should be changed into some boon corruption or soft CCs traits kind of debuffing offensive utility stuff or do something completly different but now traits are boing and bad looking at other specializations of necromancer ok but what about utility skills? well in my honest opinion Harbinger got no new utility skills. The elixirs are just bad boring lazy and insulting. Necromancer has the same amount of utility skills as other classes and yet most of them are very situational or useless only a couple of them is good in general. Wells - almost no animation but good in both PvE and WvW as power damage and boon corruption and yeaa there is well of power but it lacks power Signets - should be reworked signet of spite gives passively power but active applies a bunch of condis is it power or condi skill? signet of undeath is best in slot for condi scourge in PvE I don't even know what to say the signets have their uses but they should really be reworked Spectrals purely utility skills they are good but lich form should be IDK reworked or something Corruptions they are actually good some deal damage some are more of offensive utility Minions - They are super bad I mean people use them and it works but they are bad skills for the game they should be reworked in the same way guardian's spirit weapons were reworked they should spawn minion or a group of minions for the time of skill animation and despawn them the zoo playstyle is bad for the game it teaches people nothing and we could have some strong skills instead of them Shouts reaper only pure roleplay very bad in most cases Punishments Scourge only some are very good some are so bad some ppl might even be surprised that they are in the game Serpent Siphon skill has no usage in any game mode for anything and now we are gonna get elixirs they will have no animation irrelevant effect and their only use will be to selfgenerate blight since the elixirs are already done there is no way of them being replaced by some toehr good skills but they should be reworked because now their effects are rather weak and the main reason for using them is gonna be applying mroe blight to deal more damage Honestly this post was making much more sense in my head but well since I wrote it I am gonna summarize it with my thougths on what to change and hope someoen can actually read it and understand my point of view. I belive that the best changes for Harbinger would be: 1 Rework traits 2 Give us offhand pistol too in PoF warrior got 2 daggers so there is no reason nto to give us 2 pistols since we lack skills 3 make utility skills usable in harbinger shroud other classes that have shroudlike mechanics can use the utility skills in their forms and sicne shroud doesn't protect our regular HP we can be healed and killed in shroud we could also use the ability to heal ourselves and cast utility skills in shroud 4 improve elixir effects maybe give them amunition charges and make them usable while in shroud with different offensive effect something like in shroud you can throw elixir on enemy and apply some debuffs/condiitons on them instead of drinking elixir yourself thanks for reading if anyone read this
  3. HeyLast summer I bought new PC it wasn't cheap and I wasn't sure if I wanna invest that much into PC but I decided that since I am no life and never leave the house I can spend the time looking at prettier games on high graphical settings. The problem is that I didn't play GW2 on this PC untill recent weeks and I had no idea how bad it is. While playing on ultra remastered whatever setting in Black Desert Online I had around 100+FPS and in GW2 low/medium settings I barely have 20-30FPS and it feels much worse than tha old PC I had.I have AMD Ryzen 5 3600x and AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and from what I found the problem is that my CPU doesn't work with GW2 and tehre is pretty much nothing I can do but I am bad with technology and PC stuff I can only play the game outside of that I have grandpa skills. Is my CPU really that big of a problem? Can I install some App that would improve it? Is there anything I can do to improve it? Should I provide some more information in order to get some help? or the only way to fix my low FPS on new PC is to sell this and buy different CPU that works fine?I'm not gonna lie considering how much I paid for my PC I'd expect to be able to play on the highest settings unless I'm in big WvW fights. Hope someone can help me fix it or tell me if it's even possible to fix it.
