Katreyn.4218
So I've been trying to get the Twilight Arbor Light armor chest piece to change its glow channels. And I can't for the life of me find any good screenshots to determine if its possible. Most fancy screenarchers avoid this issue specifically. It seems to glow pink no matter the dye (I've tried straight abyssal and other drastic color changes and no change either). Looking up info its really hard to determine if it could be bugged or not (the wiki just says dyes can react unexpectedly -- I guess that can mean not at all 🙃). I'm assuming its probably just the way it is. But it looks quite a lot different in day time/normal lighting compared to night and the pinks start coming through. If anything, I guess my Sylvari just has a case of some nighttime eczema since I like the look 90% of the time. Not great screens, just took them real quick: Char select: https://i.imgur.com/VVJLCE6.jpg Night time: https://i.imgur.com/nuJ68qA.jpg Edited September 10, 2021 by Katreyn.4218
Inculpatus cedo.9234
It looks like your Sylvari character may have a 'pink' glow chosen as the option in character creation. Some Sylvari-themed armor takes on the glow chosen at character creation. It will be especially prominent at night.
Katreyn.4218
My Sylvari actually glows bright green. But I didn't bother too hard for a picture to show that (you can see it on hair ends/face). Back shot to show better natural glow color (orangish spots are from the Twilight Arbor Robe as well): https://i.imgur.com/SxfVK1r.jpeg I did find this screenshot this morning. It looks like it definitely should take the Sylvari glow into account maybe. Guess I will chalk this up to potentially bugged. Edit: Also was previewing the other pieces and realized the legs/skirt glows perfectly normal green like it should. As well as the other armor types. So yeah, probably bugged (sent in a bug report).
