Gw2Fish.com - A tool for tracking your fishing achievements

Hi,

 

Like many, I've spent hours since the release of EoD on the waters of Tyria, trying to reach Cod-hood. However, tracking your fishing progress through the in-game achievement UI while switching back to the Hero panel to track your bait/lures and keeping the inventory open to clear bag space is... not ideal.

 

So I created https://gw2fish.com/ to help with some of that.

 

Gw2Fish will track your current fishing achievement progress (if you provide it with an API key), display the current time (and alert you about time changes), and filter the fish that can be caught at the current time. You can also just use it to browse all of the 250+ fish in game. You can leave Gw2Fish on a second screen or a tablet on the side to track the current achievement you're working through. It will automatically refresh your progress (there's a ~5min delay for the API to reflect the latest data. You can either let it refresh by itself or manually check off a newly caught fish).

Oh wow, this is such a helpful tool, really amazing work! 😄 I've not dived into the fishing stuff much yet, but will definitely make use of this when I get around to going for the fishing achieves, thank you!
