gforce now 3080 tier: good for wvw zergs? Do you still get banned?

Thinking into renewing my rig as it struggles with newer games or to go directly for a gforce now 3080 tier as right now it seems cheaper at 200€ / year than to spend 3-4k in a Pc of equivalent performance. 

Anybody plays with it? How does it perform in very crowded areas like LA or WvW Zerg combat? 
I am talking with high setting and high character limit and detail. If I set standard models and reduce the char limit to a minimum the game plays in a potato but then you don’t see anybody else… in an MMO. 

Another worry is i’ve read that_shaman was banned for using it, but the game is available in the service. Are you still getting banned for using GeForce now?

Happy to see there is no risk of being banned.
Then I guess I can try it out and check how performs, I haven’t seen any video about how it performs when a lot of players are doing stuff on the screen. those articles are from over 2 years ago, before the 3080 tier was available (i think)
