Bought Gift of Gliding from Miyani in Lion's Arch, the item did not end up in my inventory. I had plenty of space in my bags and did an inventorysearch afterwards, but no result. In the chatlog I checked that indeed I bought it, and my currency for the item was gone. Maybe something to consider, it happened while the game mentioned There was some time left for new game-update. To make sure, I restarted game, wnet through the update of todays patch but still no item.
