armada.9013
Tuesday I came home and started downloading the new patch. It went smoothly until it hit the "Playable" state. Then, it dipped until it stopped downloading entirely. I know there are other posts in this forum similar to this one. The reason I'm writing a new one is because the solutions I found (both on the forums and on reddit) didn't work for me. Also, I have submitted a ticket yesterday, but didnt get a responde yet, which is very unusual (it usually takes 10 minutes). Here are the list of things I tried and somethings I notices. I tried changing the hosts file (got a connection error) I tried using creating a shortcut with a command line to connect directly to the server (no change) Disabling FIrewall (no change) Tried with and without VPN (no change) Disabling Windows QoS (no change) Leaving overnight (No progress) Everytime I open the launcher it starts downloading, but it dips after a few seconds. It pick backs up again, but there are no progresse in the downloaded files. If I close the launcher and start it again, there are fewer files to be downloaded (1 or 2). The ammount of files downloaded is the same wether I leave it open for a minute or overnight. It downloads new patches just fine, it only stops after the playable threshold. I assume these files are related to the new content. I can play the new content up to the story chapter that teleports me to "The Horn of Maguuma". It just gets stuck in the loading screen. If anyone has eccountered the same problem recently, please tell me how did you fix. I really want to play the new expansion. TY Armada
armada.9013
Update Got a reply from the support team. It sent me a link for general network problem solutions. I'm going to try it as soon as I get home, but not to hopeful since I remember having done these steps before.
