How to use Greatsword as Herald?

Hello, I've seen so many "builds" and "gameplays" of revenant heralds playing with a greatsword, but if I equip a greatsword I can't use it, all skills are greyed out, and it says I need to select vindicator.

Indeed, dlc content is locked behind the dlc in question in this game.

Have you just never played a mmorpg before? Or just don’t really understand the concept that you buy expansions? 

it’s not a paywall lol, expansions replace game launches, it doesn’t change the fact you have to pay each launch to play

 some of you people really do want something for nothing… lol
