On June 2, 2024, the Guild Wars 2 community gathered to honor and remember a beloved member, James, also known as Discharged Guard. James, the leader of the renowned WvW guild KISS, was more than just a guild leader; he was a mentor, a friend, and a source of unwavering support and kindness.

In this video, we document the Memory March held in his honor. Starting at the Field of the Fallen in Lion's Arch and ending in WvW, where James loved to play, the community came together to celebrate his life and legacy.

James's legacy in the World vs. World community is profound and enduring. His patience, wisdom, and generosity touched countless lives, teaching not only the intricacies of the game but also the importance of community, perseverance, and kindness. He fostered a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect that continues to inspire all who knew him.

Though James has passed away, his influence remains a guiding light for the community. His leadership and the bonds he helped forge within KISS and the broader WvW community are testaments to his remarkable character and dedication. The impact he had on the players and the lessons he imparted will never be forgotten.
