Jayle.6432 Posted June 3, 2018 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Hi there, I took a long, long break from GW2 and have decided to check out the new expansions and am attempting to redownload the game. It easily downloaded all the way to the playable marker and then some, however, I'm at about 200,000 files left and it keeps crashing citing either of these 2 errors. Here is the full report it said just now. --> Crash <--Exception: c0000005Memory at address 00000000`00000008 could not be readApp: Gw2-64.exePid: 6576Cmdline:BaseAddr: 000000013F600000ProgramId: 101Build: 89064Module: ASProxy64.dllWhen: 2018-06-03T23:31:43Z 2018-06-04T07:31:43+08:00Uptime: 0 days 0:00:05Flags: 0--> System <--Name: DETROITIpAddr: 198.18.54.37 192.168.1.3Processors: 4 [GenuineIntel:6:14:9]OSVersion: Windows 6.1 (64 bit)--> System Memory <--Physical: 11111MB/16325MB 68%Paged: 27587MB/32649MB 84%Virtual: 8388296MB/8388607MB 99%Load: 31%CommitTotal: 5062MBCommitLimit: 32649MBCommitPeak: 5093MBSystemCache: 4460MBHandleCount: 42242ProcessCount: 124ThreadCount: 2090--> Process Memory <--Private: 120MBWorkingSet: 128MBPeakWorkingSet: 145MBPageFaults: 390105--> Memory Category Usage (Inclusive) <--[Category] [size(MB)] [Count]Root 84.98 6633Programmer Data 48.45 934Collections 34.22 261Uncategorized 30.08 4944Dictionary 26.09 44I/O 13.82 438Archive 12.50 23Set 8.09 14Collide Havok 6.45 755Collide 6.45 755File Service 1.24 12Networking 0.15 25UI 0.11 102Web Browser 0.11 88Asset Service 0.08 398Event 0.07 3Game 0.04 55Engine 0.02 12Content 0.02 1Threading 0.01 15Model-Programmer 0.01 1CharClient 0.00 5Services 0.00 8File Core 0.00 2 --> Memory Category Usage (Exclusive) <--[Category] [size(MB)] [Count]Uncategorized 30.08 4944Dictionary 26.09 44Archive 12.50 23Set 8.09 14Collide Havok 6.45 755File Service 1.24 12Networking 0.15 20Web Browser 0.11 88Asset Service 0.08 398Event 0.07 3Collections 0.05 199Game 0.02 45Content 0.02 1Threading 0.01 15Model-Programmer 0.01 1Engine 0.01 6CharClient 0.00 5Services 0.00 8File Core 0.00 2Text 0.00 1BTree 0.00 4Download 0.00 3UI 0.00 14Programmer Data 0.00 2 --> DllList <--C:\Users\e1\Desktop\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exeC:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dllC:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Antivirus\x64\aswhooka.dllC:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dllC:\Windows\system32\KERNELBASE.dllC:\Windows\system32\USER32.dllC:\Windows\system32\GDI32.dllC:\Windows\system32\LPK.dllC:\Windows\system32\USP10.dllC:\Windows\system32\msvcrt.dllC:\Windows\system32\ADVAPI32.dllC:\Windows\SYSTEM32\sechost.dllC:\Windows\system32\RPCRT4.dllC:\Windows\system32\VERSION.dllC:\Windows\system32\WS2_32.dllC:\Windows\system32\NSI.dllC:\Windows\system32\WTSAPI32.dllC:\Windows\system32\WINMM.dllC:\Windows\system32\WINTRUST.dllC:\Windows\system32\CRYPT32.dllC:\Windows\system32\MSASN1.dllC:\Windows\system32\PSAPI.DLLC:\Windows\system32\ole32.dllC:\Windows\system32\OLEAUT32.dllC:\Windows\system32\SHELL32.dllC:\Windows\system32\SHLWAPI.dllC:\Windows\system32\MSACM32.dllC:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft.windows.gdiplus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.1.7601.23807_none_14556b8e8b95d1fc\gdiplus.dllC:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_5.82.7601.18837_none_a4d981ff711297b6\COMCTL32.dllC:\Windows\system32\MSIMG32.dllC:\Windows\system32\Secur32.dllC:\Windows\system32\SSPICLI.DLLC:\Windows\system32\IMM32.DLLC:\Windows\system32\MSCTF.dllC:\Windows\system32\api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.DLLC:\Windows\system32\cryptbase.dllC:\Windows\system32\dbghelp.dllC:\Windows\system32\profapi.dllC:\Windows\system32\uxtheme.dllC:\Windows\system32\nvspcap64.dllC:\Windows\system32\ntmarta.dllC:\Windows\system32\WLDAP32.dllC:\Windows\system32\imagehlp.dllC:\Windows\system32\CRYPTSP.dllC:\Windows\system32\rsaenh.dllC:\Windows\system32\ncrypt.dllC:\Windows\system32\bcrypt.dllC:\Windows\system32\bcryptprimitives.dllC:\Windows\system32\CLBCatQ.DLLC:\Windows\system32\samcli.dllC:\Windows\system32\SAMLIB.dllC:\Windows\system32\netutils.dllC:\Windows\system32\dwmapi.dllC:\Windows\system32\NLAapi.dllC:\Windows\system32\napinsp.dllC:\Windows\system32\pnrpnsp.dllC:\Windows\System32\mswsock.dllC:\Windows\system32\DNSAPI.dllC:\Windows\System32\winrnr.dllC:\Program Files\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dllC:\Windows\system32\Iphlpapi.DLLC:\Windows\system32\WINNSI.DLLC:\Windows\system32\wshbth.dllC:\Windows\system32\WindowsCodecs.dllC:\Windows\system32\explorerframe.dllC:\Windows\system32\DUser.dllC:\Windows\system32\DUI70.dllC:\Windows\System32\fwpuclnt.dllC:\Windows\system32\rasadhlp.dllC:\Windows\system32\ASProxy64.dllC:\Windows\System32\wship6.dllC:\Windows\System32\wshtcpip.dllC:\Users\e1\Desktop\Guild Wars 2\bin64\CoherentUI64.dllC:\Windows\system32\d3d9.dllC:\Windows\system32\d3d8thk.dllC:\Windows\system32\USERENV.dllC:\Windows\system32\GPAPI.dllC:\Windows\system32\cryptnet.dllC:\Windows\system32\SensApi.dllC:\Windows\system32\apphelp.dll[DbgHelp.dll is C:\Windows\system32\dbghelp.dll][DbgHelp.dll version 6.1.7601.17514 (64/32-bit compatible)]iirc I had the exact same problem back in 2012 when I downloaded this game in the US with a computer that is not nearly as beefed up as this one. I am now downloading from Shanghai using a reliable VPN and it continues to crash. I've read the help articles, deleted the bin files, redownloaded the setup.exe file and restarted downloading but nothing has changed the fact that when it gets to around 200k files left it starts to crash. I will attempt to download it on another computer but I am quite skeptical at this point. If anyone could give me any suggestions that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance! Inculpatus cedo.9234 Posted June 4, 2018 Share Posted June 4, 2018 This is the cause of the crash: Module: ASProxy64.dllYou can use Google, or the Search Engine of choice to find solutions.Good luck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jayle.6432 Posted June 4, 2018 Author Share Posted June 4, 2018 Oh really? Ok thank you! I'll have to uninstall and reinstall once it is finished downloading. Hopefully, that is the issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
