stat change insignia of the harrier not working

as written above.no matter which order. as soon as the insignia comes into play it fails.ascended heavy aquabreather + 5 ectos + anthology of heroes + insignia of the harrier (exotic)the recipe worked before on my leather aquabreather. so the stat is not excluded. both of 'em from bitterfrost.

Ha, you fell for the ancient bug. Aquabreathers can’t be changed via MF with non-core insignias (HoT, PoF, LS, festivals), since the game doesn’t know a Zehtuka’s Leather Breather for example. Everything you can buy as a stand alone recipe in the fractals, can be made via MF.

Until they introduce aquabreathers for every armour type and every attribute combination, this will never be fixed.

Like already has been said stat change on aquabreather only work for those stats that we have aquabreather recipes for so core/pre HoT stats.

The only way to get aquabreather with expansion stats are the ones which let you choose stats initially, so the ones from bitterfrost or the one you can get for the swim-infusions. (and only when you first time choose, stat change via MF won't work on those either).

but how can it be that the same type of aquabreather for medium armour class has harrier stats on my druid and the heavy version is not working ?

cos i initially picked harrier on the druid and now i am "peep" cos i didnt for the guardian ? srym thats big time "peep"

Yeah exactly because of that.The stat change in the mystic forge is not a simple stat change per se.The old item gets destroyed and a new item gets produced.

You easily can see that when changing weapons as they change look and name to the one that a weapon with the new stats would come with.For the same reason sigil and the like that still are in the weapon get destroyed.

Another example is if you e.g. get and ascended triuphant armor (wvw) which you would be able to upgrade to legendary and you (before upgrading it) decide to change the stats via the mystic forge you can no longer use that part as "precursor" as it turns into a "normal" ascended armor with the stats you wanted.

For aquabreather that means you destroy the bitterfrost aquabreather and get an normal/regular one with the stats you wanted.As there are no regular aquabreather for expansion stats that's not possible. for harrier.
