(Noob Question) Can't earn Skirmish Claim Tickets? Can't get Warclaw.

Swapped over to a friend's world shortly after downloading the game so we could play WvW and do dailies and stuff together. Now I've just learned I cant get any pips for an entire month because I swapped over like a week or two ago, so the main way of earning tickets just doesn't work for me. I'm stuck at 40 WvW claim tickets and just need 10 more to unlock my warclaw, I've already completed the Warclaw reward track and gotten the badges of honor from doing dailes. Am I just stuck wandering around on my feet like an idiot until the game decides to let me earn pips? Or is there another way. I've already consumed all the warclaw armor pieces for tickets. The only one I don't have is the 50 claim ticket one.

It's a full MU week, Friday reset to Friday reset, not a month. So if you moved after reset you'll have to wait 2 weeks until you get pips again. But no, there's no other way to gain tickets than what you've already done.
