I would like my time spent in WvW to be meaningful... Well, that too, but WvW players still need to spend time in PvE if they want the legendary trinkets for instance. So it's not like literally everyone who plays WvW only plays WvW. Plus, the idea is to maybe incentivize some WvW players to visit PvE and PvE players to visit WvW as well.
